Max Kingdom Clan Limit

I can’t seem to get any more than 21 clans in my kingdom(including me). I just get hit with the “I’m happy with my current liege” every time. Is 21 the limit? submitted by /u/Appropriate_Coach_19 [link] [comments]

Rhodokian Anthem

Music Fellow Rhodoks stop your dreaming Look at their lance points gleaming Hear their cavalry bells ringing At this battle-field Get your crossbows ready Spearmen stand ye steady For King Graveth we are ready Stand and form a shield From the hills rebounding Let our bolts be sounding Summon all at Veluca's call Our mighty men surrounding Fellow Rhodoks charge for glory This shall be our story Brace your spears for more glory Yalen will not yield. "Politics" in Floris Mod

I'm playing the latest Floris Mod version and in this playthrough I'm a vassal to the Rhodok Republic , I want to receive the fief of Yalen , however , it's lord is Count Gutlans , is there a way to discredit him/make him be shunned to the point he's kicked out of the faction and then the fief is awarded to me? Rhodoks or Sarranids?

So I'm somewhat new to mount and blade, I've probably put 20 hours or so into the game but I've watched two or three playthoughs on YouTube. I started out in Rhodok land because of easier bandits (less calvary) and I have a fondness for sharpshooters. I have solid relations with both the Sarranids and Rhodoks and I'm pretty certain both would accept me as a lord. Now they are at war with each other, Sarranids have the upper hand as of right now but I'm still unsure of who to join. Joining the Sarranids would give me a good start for a war but I'd be cut off from my commonly used troops as well as loose any relations I had built up with the villages and lords. If I go with the Rhodoks I'll get my troops but then I'll be defending against a powerful Sarranid force and will probably get Jamchie for my fief. So who should I join up on? Edit: I know I can get Rhodoks after peace is declared but it might be a while given the war just started and the Rhodoks

What mods can you suggest where...?

The character: 1. Would only do and CAN choose quests. 2. Hire a few troops for his quests. 3. Render his services to vassals/lords/kings as a mercenary company. 4. Help the mentioned boss with conquering other factions. I wanted to play things like this where my character is not really the center of the story. Just more of a sandbox-y feel. Ever have a faction that just clicks with you?

Okay lurker and first post on here but I just really wanted to share my story. So I decided to go ahead and try to conquer standard native before I hop into any mods just yet. I have done my research and understood that ideally you want nord infantry, rhodok sharpshooters and swadian knights for an army. Well I have spent the first 300 days or so with this setup, mostly farming sea raiders for enterprise money. However like many unseasoned M&B players I got a bit to big for my britches and decided that my 60 man force could do more than fight raiders and take a fief. Soooo long story short noob me is at war with the sarranids. I have been getting crushed over and over each time recruting the ideal units but since my army is so small we cant maintain. So just before I was about to delete the save and start over I decided to say the hell with the by the book approach let me just pick the "worse" faction build my army entirely of that and yolo it out with the sarranids. Why exactly is Prophesy of Pendor good?

I've been lurking this subreddit for a while, and I've seen a lot of things about Prophesy of Pendor. Why exactly is that mod good? I've been playing Floris pretty much my whole Warband adventuring career. Submitted February 28, 2017 at 12:12AM by MajorMythical http://ift.tt/2m1jIhB

Are there any Sci-Fi Open RPGs like M&B?

I've been really getting into the expanse recently but the Sci Fi mods for M&B don't cut the mustard. I'm looking for a Sci-Fi game like M&B that is open ended in the same way but lets you fight battles, command ships and the like. The closest I've seen is the Star Wars mod for M&B, but is there anything quite like what I'm describing? Submitted February 27, 2017 at 04:25PM by Nucl3arDude http://ift.tt/2mnosz9

Why are there three "Empire" factions in Bannerlord?

I don't understand why there will be three factions that have very similar, if not the same, troops. Wouldn't it make more sense for two of the factions, the Western and Northern Empire for example, to be split between Battania, the Southern Empire, and maybe a new faction? I understand that it's too late to change anything, and Bannerlord looks great regardless. I was just wondering why such similar factions are included in the same game. AD 1257 and Medieval Conquest seems to offer quite a bit of new features. How come it's not as played as P.O.P?

What's your biggest issue with AD 1257? The building system is very cool, and Lords dying seems to add a bit of flair in my opinion if your good friend dies in battle. As far as I'm aware POP doesn't have any of that, what makes POP or even Prisno better in your opinion? Submitted February 27, 2017 at 10:53AM by Durnofbranches http://ift.tt/2mD3EzD

I feel I deserved this [PoP] (Story)

There I was, a brash young Captain, traversing the lands of Pendor with my ragtag band of rouge knights and mercenaries. When what should I happen upon but a siege, the Fierdsvain were assaulting Dagon castle. I set up camp nearby to watch it happen, it lasted a while in-game, both parties numbers rapidly trickling down, and then suddenly a message flashed up on the screen. "The Kingdom of Ravenstern and the Fierdsvain made peace" "Well that was anti-climactic" I thought to myself. I prepared to move on, but as I hovered my cursor over Dagon castle one last time to check on the Ravenstern casualties, I noticed they only had 10 able-bodied men left. At this point I had around 50 men in my company. Fast-forward several minutes and I am the King of the new Kingdom of Pendor, with only Dagon Castle, and it's connected village to my name. I knew that Ravenstern would be coming in great numbers to retake their castle, and with 3 right to rule It was only a matte

Prosperity mechanics makes no sense!

I've read the wiki entry on Prosperity and a few posts and I've got a pretty good handle on how the mechanic is supposed to work. It doesn't work that way. How it actually works I have no idea. I had Veluca go from Poor to Average. Then Nizer came back to my party and crashed the game. *(1) I expected that and had a recent save from the same day. The second time after I loaded there was the same prosperity increase. It crashed again a little bit later and tried again but this time no prosperity increase. The third time I sat and let the timer tick and Veluca never got a prosperity bump in 5 days. I've tried it a dozen times now in various ways. Cleaning out bandits, selling stuff for 0 denars, using the cheat to teleport around and pump in the correct trade goods. I've tried loading different saves. I don't know why I not only cannot reproduce my first couple of runs, I can't even get prosperity to increase when I cheat like mad and give it extra time.

Things have changed in the kingdom of the Nords.

Strength has always ruled in the kingdom of the Nords. Long ago, the mighty calradic empire hired STRONK nord warriors to fight for them and serve on their ships. When the empire grew weak these warriors took the opportunity to carve out their own kingdom. More recently this rule of the strong has been seen. After the previous king's son Lethwin "dissapeared" Ragnar was the strongest of all jarls and thus he become king. But now ragnar is weak. Like the Calradic Empire of yore, which was once mighty and had the strong serve them but grew weak. However, Ragnar recognizes his weakness in his old age he cannot lead the nords as he once did. So he has bestowed the title of King of the Nords upon our greatest warrior and leader. Smug Alpaca. His naked fury in battle will guide us all to victory. The first step our new leader has taken to ensuring nord dominance in calradia relates to this upcoming war between the Vaegirs and Khergits. The Vaegirs have long been our allie

So I finally got M&B Warband on PS4

And it's super addicting. I had previously asked on his sub about the quality of the game on the PS4 and a lot told me it wasn't very good. But now that I got it, it's amazingly fun. The only small issues in the game is when opening up the open map when exiting a town or village takes a few seconds, and when you are upgrading troops, you have to go all the way back up to your character just to scroll back down. The controls are good, outside of the issue I mentioned there is no lag or stuttering, the HD quality really makes the game look better than it should, and it's just overall a bunch of fun. Come Out Ye Khergit Clans!

Authored by Wycliffe of Rin Set to this tune. I was born on a Curaw street where the savage drums did beat, And those loving Khergit feet they tramped all over us, And each and every night when Naldera came home tight He'd invite the folk to fight back with this chorus: Come out ye Khergit clans, come out and fight me like a man, Show your horse-wife how you cower from the northerners, Tell them how the Vaegir gray made you run like hell away From the bravely flowing banners of the leopard. Come tell us how you slew them poor Swaddies two by two, Like the Rhodoks, they had spears and heavy crossbows, How you bravely faced each one then like that they made you run, Now you frighten our poor Rinnish to their marrow. Come out ye Khergit clans, come out and fight me like a man, Show your horse-wife how you cower from the northerners, Tell them how the Vaegir gray made you run like hell away From the bravely flowing banners of the leopard. Horsing Around - Calradic Campaign #14

This is a matter of utmost urgency to the Khergit. After many disturbing rumors, the Khanate sent out lone riders to investigate for themselves. These grave whispers had taken hold in the heart of every member of the Steppes, and the very foundation of their nation was at stake. Their fears were confirmed when a Horseman returned from his expedition, hardly able to summon the courage to speak the truth. This man had come to the conclusion that the Vaegir military... had been feeding their horses butter. Every decent person of the Khanate knows that this is sacrilege, as they knew that horses should at all costs NOT be fed with the evil essence of the west. One Khergit claimed that he "would not let them disrespect the people of my wife" as such. The enraged /u/SanjarKhan has not waited for a reply from /u/King_Yaroglek , instead charging for the largest horse supplier in Vaegir lands: Rindyar Castle. Mod idea, pledges of future support

Politicking is a tedious business. With every fief awarded, a lord needs to ride to each of his friends and convince them to support himself or someone else. Then, once suitable amounts of support has been mustered, the sovereign must be found and convinced himself. Then, once that fief is awarded, the process of gathering support needs to start all over again. I propose an interface that allows easy negotiation with lords over who they will support in the future. I mocked up something like what I'd want to see. Escorting caravans-- (not the quest)

I remember there was a way to escort a random caravan (not a quest) and get paid for it. Except I cannot figure out how to do it anymore. This is using Diplomacy mod. Right clicking brings up the standard options "Move here" and "Accompany" like it does for everything. Talking to the caravan gives me the standard options of demanding a toll or attacking the caravan. I'm my own faction and friendly (10+) with the caravans factions. Is being a king too overqualified to guard for them now? I rarely did it but now that I can't, I really kind of miss it. It was a pretty good way of bandit hunting. The caravan would bait them in and my army wouldn't be big enough to scare them away. I'd wait until the bandits attacked then join as reinforcements using the caravan's units to soak my losses. It worked especially well when there were multiple caravans all going to the same location. What am I forgetting? Submitted February 25, 2017 at 04:20PM by N

Need some help with the mid-early game!

Hello! I'm fairly new to posting on Reddit, as well as Mount & Blade. Please forgive my ignorance on any of these subjects! Anyways. I just started getting into the game and have roughly 60 hours in M&B. I know this isn't a lot to most people, but it's practically all I play now. Unfortunately, 90% of that time is spent BEFORE I am even given a fief! I've looked at guide after guide , but nothing seems to help me with getting through this awkward stage of the game. Can anyone offer advice? My most common problems are running out of money, having very high wages, being too weak to fight harder bandits, a lack of weekly income, and no real goals. When given a fief after grinding out tournaments, I simply wander around with no clue on what to do, and I usually run out of money in the process. Does anyone have any generally helpful tips on what to do at this early pre-fief to early-fief stage of the game? Maybe things like, how to make money, what to be focusin

[POP]Lords forcing themselves into my faction?

So I established my kingdom in Senderfall, and began a war with the Kingdom of Sarleon and the Baccus Empire. While raiding Imperial lands, I got a notification about a sadistic lord who defected to my faction. I thought, hmm, I'll let him sit in my hall for a while before rejecting him. Otherwise, it would have taken me over a week to travel to my capital during a war. After a few days, I received a notification that "Lord Faramund of [My Kingdom] was defeated", and his relation with me went from -3 to -4. Problem is, I never accepted him as a vassal, and apparently he just declared he was a lord. When I tried to indict him, I took a huge relationship loss with my other vassals. So my questions are: Is this a feature of the mod? How long do I get to reject lords before they join me? Is there any good way to get rid of quarrelsome lords? Ez Guide to Everything you don't know in M&B.

M&B is like that RPG from 1995 that is so vague yet clear that it's impossible to know all of its ins and outs on your own (at least that's what I see online). So here's a list of as many useful, yet vague things there are in M&B. -Tactics allows you to have more units in battle. If you're going 100vs10000000000, you would spawn with like 5 units. With high tactics, you'd spawn with 100. (Not sure if this is how it works, but it's close enough). -Adding 3-4 horses would speed you up in the map. Each horse carries the other items in your inventory. Be warned, there's a limit to how many horses are useful until adding more horses is detrimental to your speed. -If you want renown and relationship points with your vassals, get married, and start holding feasts. +2 Points for whoever came to it after it ends. -If you don't know where somewhere is, search for it's name and click it . Map will move from your location towards whatever you clicke

Now that I'm Marshall is there a way for me to start wars?

I just got voted as Marshall of the Nords and I want to go take some towns but the damn King won't start any wars. I tried getting a quest to instigate war and I completed it, I lost a couple relation points with every lord except the one who gave me the quest, but then I waited around for like 20 days and still no war. Seeing as I'm Marshall can I just call for a campaign and start killing shit? Or can I order the King to go besiege an enemy castle or something to start a war? Or do I need to wait for the King to declare war? Also if I can't declare war I was thinking about just starting my own faction, I'm lord of 4 or 5 castles all near each other and a couple fiefs, no towns though, I'm pretty rich with a lot of businesses, strong garrisons, and a 100 man army of mostly Swadian Knights and Man at Arms that I can switch for Nord infantry and assorted archers from my garrisons when I want to take something, and have good relations with a couple of powerful lords

Desert Bandit farming

Everyone always talks about sea raider farming, but what about desert bandits? Sure they don't have chainmaille, but with my modest army costing around 600 denars I can usually capture 10-15 per battle. Dragging them to Shariz clears me a cool 2 Gs and I can do this a couple times a week. My army consists mostly of sarranid recruits/footman, with about 10 merc crossbowmen, 2-3 Mamlukes and a few manhunters. Best part is I lose very few men unlike when I try to farm sea raiders. Hopefully with higher loot skill I will be able to get some horses but no such luck so far. Submitted February 22, 2017 at 11:34PM by hells_gullet http://ift.tt/2lI24z3

Never saw any of their patrols again. What can I do? Is there some quest or random event to help me raise relations with them? Or is there a way to cheat? Any mods that let you execute nobles?

I am a console player (I know, thats enough to get my skull drunken from) and I rule my own Kingdom. I am at war with Rhodoks and alone was fighting off multiple invaders in my lands, when a party of 23 Rhodok filth snuck through and burned one of my villages to the ground. I arrived on the scene literally seconds too late to stop my Very Rich fief from dropping down to Very Poor. I annihilated his army and took him captive. I really, really, really want to chop his fucking head off for what he did. I know this is not a feature in vanilla Warband but for those of you experiencing this game on PC, are there any mods that allow you to execute captured Lords? Or anything along those lines? I love looking at all of the crazy mods available for this game and I've been watching far too much Game of Thrones lately, I really really really want to behead Count Estoq. I am finding hard to star my own kingdom.

Can´t find a good way to start it without being kicked in the ass right away. My last try, i was the marshal and almost everyone was with me, i caught two cities, asked them both to me, just got one, and then i rebelled. But they army was already grouped, and they start taking everything for me, i just could not fight 1,5k. I only got 2 companions as lords and myself, it was barelly 400 man troop. How is your experience with that? The good and the bad ones... Submitted February 22, 2017 at 11:19AM by coiotebh http://ift.tt/2mlPQcP

Beginner tips?

I play one Xbone so keep that in mind(I do plan on building a pc but I've always been so fascinated with the game I couldn't wait). I'll build a party of about 15 or 20 Vaegar recruits and I'll just get destroyed and I'm back to square one. If anyone's got some tips that'll help me out it'll be much appreciated! [warband] thoughts on marriage?

Viking Conquest World Map

Would anyone happen to have a link to a copy of the world map for Viking Conquest Reforged edition? I've been google searching in and couldn't seem to find one. I was hoping I could find a copy that I could use to plan out my next moves in between calls at work. Submitted February 21, 2017 at 05:16PM by pekt http://ift.tt/2kJjjRj

Is Viking Conquest worth a buy?

I heard bad things when it came out, but people seem to like the reforged edition. Plus it seems to have aspects most mods/native don't, like a story. Is it worth full price at this point? Submitted February 21, 2017 at 05:26PM by CaptainPick1e http://ift.tt/2m9JQEH

[Viking Conquest] First game, need some pointers please

Hi - I'm doing my first real game of M&B, specifically in Viking conquest (reforged) and I do need some help/guidance. Started as a Saxon characters, accumulated some wealth (got lucky with tax collection quest), and some soldiers. I swore loyalty to Wessex and am now a vassal to the king of Wessex and I'm the owner of a little village. I have about 30 soldiers. What are my next steps as I feel a bit lost? Wessex is at war with the "blue" kingdom to the west (Cornwall), but I don't think I'm strong enough yet? Should I try to continue doing quests? Should I try to work myself up within Wessex? If so, how? How do I get companions? Also I noticed that my village no longer pays tax ("unpaid") and some googling indicates there's nothing I can do except to wait? What would be a good course of action from here? Thanks! Submitted February 21, 2017 at 09:17AM by PriestLizard http://ift.tt/2lkpkTu

CALRADIA BELONGS TO THE NORDS! First playthrough I ever finished

I started this playthrough around a week ago. M&B really saved my free time in that period since I didn't have internet so this was the only thing I could do. Here are some pictures (some of them need context, so read what's written if you don't get the picture, others are pretty obvious) of the whole adventure. http://ift.tt/2m5dDRV The best and worst part of all this has to be the Marshalship. As soon as I took it, I was able to bring down 2 and a half factions in 14 days. The reason I say half is because King Ragnar took away my marshalship as soon as I was imprisoned. I really don't understand the logic behind that...It also sucked pretty hard since I could've finished the game much faster with the marshalship. Nevertheless, I continued on and fought against the Khergits. I had one of my best fights in here since I had to solo about 100 men. It only happened because of how M&B distributes soldiers during a fight (I started with like 20 men against 100

Mods which improve the Khergit Khanate?

Is there any mod that focuses on improving the Khergit Khanate? I've tried many playthroughs trying to become Genghis Khan but I simply can't. Horse archery really sucks, they are very weak and I don't like to use Khergit Lancers because it makes the archers even more useless. The mods I have tried have ugly units with weird helmets and don't really improve much things. I remember seeing a mod focused on Khergits on moddb but I can't find it and I thought maybe someone knows about it or something similar. Thanks for your help and forgive my ignorance. Can't increase battle size

I edited the rgl_config file, but the battle size is stuck at 150 men. I also tried using the Battle Size Changer program, but it's still stuck at 150 men, even though it says that the limit is changed to 350. Wtf??? Sorry for the repost, no one helped me last time. POP 3.8.4 is lagging in menus and overworld but battles are very smooth, help?

My laptop is pretty weak but I'm playing the game on lowest settings, PoP 3.7 is working great and never crashed before, but 3.8.4 is hell to play, only in menus and other interfaces though, battles are very smooth... Any tweaks or anything you have in mind that could make it playable? Thank you Submitted February 21, 2017 at 12:11PM by Simo-intensifies http://ift.tt/2l4aSMC

[Warsword Conquest] My faction doesn't want to conquer?

All marshalls are useless and fight pointless battles, I don't have enough soldiers to capture cities on my own so I used cheatmenu to force lords to follow me but it doesn't work they say ''ay I will follow you'' just to go where the please afterwards. We are getting our ass kicked because the enemy AI behaves normally but I'm stuck with a bunch of retards they kinda attempted to besiege a castle which belonged to us before so I was like ''at least they counter attack'' but then they left for no reason, besieged another castle and left as well. Are Beastmen always like this or am I unlucky? They are worse than Swadia with their feasts and fucking around. Skaven, Orcs and Warriors of Chaos are very tame as well not only they didn't conquer anything but they are getting their shit pushed in meanwhile Elves (all types) and those fucking Bretonnians are going jihad mode. Shadow of Mordor-esque Lords

So I was going through a thread that I had posted a year ago about Jarl Bulba and someone commented about permadeath for Lords. I though wouldn't that be totally awesome!? What about having lords permanently die in battle but in order to keep the nobility from becoming extinct, have new Lords rise to power to replace ones who've fallen. Not right away; inheritance would take some time in game. It would work similar to the way the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor always replaces fallen Captains with unknown Uruks who get promoted and fallen Warlords get replaced promoted Captains. Kings would get replaced with Lords and Lords would be replaced by "long lost relatives" from commoner stock. Submitted February 21, 2017 at 09:41AM by ortund http://ift.tt/2lHIP9y

[PoP] A modest suggestion

Hey guys, so I've recently been hooked to this game. Unlike other mods that I have played so far, this is the one that does not get boring. There are several things you can do aside from hacking and slashing. However, there is one thing I wish that would be present in the game: A final spearman who is always assured of a shield and a one hand spear. It doesn't have to be at par with Huscarl/Kierguard/Legionnaire (coz I think a spearman with one hand spear and a shield on hand is outstanding by itself anyway). I see why butter is a meme..

i've been playing the Floris mod, and after i finally got a reasonable army (90 people, focusing on nord infantry and swadia calvalry) by slaving, i decided to try raiding my enemies villages. I've made probably 20k+ denars from all this damn butter..suno and Dhirim LOVE this stuff. I make 4-5k denars per raid of a village depending on the market. It's awesome! i got a new warhorse and paid for it entirely with butter! Submitted February 20, 2017 at 08:21PM by danish_hole http://ift.tt/2m6AWHI
