Max Kingdom Clan Limit

I can’t seem to get any more than 21 clans in my kingdom(including me). I just get hit with the “I’m happy with my current liege” every time. Is 21 the limit? submitted by /u/Appropriate_Coach_19 [link] [comments]

Recent and interesting developer posts on the official forums - Part III

There has been a decent amount of communication this week. Let's catch up with the developers. Since not all of you are on the game's official forums or have time to sift through comments, I've decided to compile recent and interesting information posted there. Please feel free to comment with other posts that you may have found. Since 1.4.1, we no longer have 25 days of truce between factions when they make peace. TaleWorlds is now working on a new truce system for factions. This new system is supposed to work as following: the losing faction will pay a daily amount of money to the winning faction. As soon as the truce is broken, the payments will stop. This means that the winning faction will have to consider what is most beneficial: the daily income or war. [source] [source] Though this is not certain, the new truce system will likely be implemented in the next 3~7 days. I looked up some of the weird units to see what they were IRL

Aserai: Mamelukes are fairly well known in gaming circles but in case you missed the memo they were foreign slave soldiers in Egypt that formed the lord's household guard since they had no tribal loyalties or ruling stake. It turns out the Ghilman minor faction are basically the same thing, but for the Abbasid caliphate up in Iraq. All 3 of their units are the same thing. Ghilman is the plural of Ghulam and Koleman is the same word in Turkish instead of Arabic. Faris is the Arabic word for knight (horse in Arabic is faras). It's apparently the origin of the Spanish name Alvarez (al-faris). Beni Zilal means The Sons of Zilal. Beni, Bani, and Banu are all the same word in different grammatical forms. Khuzait: The kheshig are the Khan's royal guard. The Torguud are the half of the kheshig that guard during the day. I guess the T5 kheshig are the night guard then (khevtuul). If you're wondering how the hell you pronounce a word with 2 Qs in it, the first Q in Qanqli i

Being a Bandit King is some of the funnest gameplay i've had in Mount and Blade

The fact that my Forest Bandits and Highwaymen do MASSIVE damage and is actually a viable strategy to stack them has made this game so fun while waiting for Disciplinarian. Feels good to ambush a lord in the forest and watch their troops melt like icecream between thicc thighs as all their professional soldiers are run down by my freemen. Once Roguery gets added in i'm going to flip shit and go full Bandit Kingdom. I realize complaining is the new hot stuff, but i just wanted to communicate that i'm having alot of fun with the game so far. We can only get better! Peace is too expensive, and doesn’t last long enough. Any strategies/mods to address this?

Edit: I'm giving a shot with Diplomacy Fixes mod. Hopefully this makes the game playable again :) I'm starting with 30 day minimum between war declarations I’m pretty frustrated by the near constant war. It just doesn’t feel realistic and makes the game less fun. I’ll kick the southern empire’s ass in two major battles, maybe take a castle, and then try to make peace. For some reason, despite kicking their ass multiple times, they want 100k. Fine, I pay up cause I have other wars going on. Then like 2-4 weeks later in game time, they declare war on me again. It’s not just the southern empire either, every faction is like this. It means near constant whack a mole war, often three at a time. If I just won a major battle, it would be more realistic if peace was profitable, not costly. The enemy would want to (at least temporarily) end a war and regain strength. It would also be more realistic if peace lasted at least a season, preferably longer. Most of the time lords would

Dev statement regarding future priorities for Singleplayer and Game Engine development.

Since the release of the game, we have been hard at work to improve stability and performance for our players. This will continue to be a top priority for us. Naturally, we are also working on other parts of the game. Below you will find a list of some of these: Campaign Kingdom & Politics -A sandbox option that will allow players to create their own kingdom independent of the main storyline. -Kingdom Decisions for Declaring War and Making Peace. -Adjustments to Kingdom Policies. Character System -New perks that will likely be added on a per skill basis. You can see the beginning of this in our latest beta version (e1.4.0)

What is the point of having a dungeon in your fief if captured enemy nobles can just walk right out in 2 days?

I get the whole enemy noble escaping from captivity if you're dragging him around with your army. But if you put him in a dungeon , in a castle , surrounded by a garrison and a militia -- and in 2 days the guy just sashays right out the fucking gate... what did he do, wear a goddamn wig? Was there a struggle? Nobody's wounded... Basically, if there's no difference between sticking a prisoner in a pup tent or the belly of a fortified structure when it comes to escape odds... what's the point? With the help of dev console mod I decided to test every noble unit x100 against an army of 199 that I stumbled across. Tested with everything set to realistic, and ai set to challenging, using the same save, scenario, settings, f6, etc. Tried veteran ai as well but the results were more or less the same. Tested on e1.2.1 with the unit stat fixes mod (v2.8). Here are my results. Here you can look for answers to any questions you might have, ask ones that aren't listed in the post body, discuss bugs and possible fixes, as well as general gameplay. Mount and Blade Discord FAQ • When will the game leave early access? TW has said the EA may last around a year’s time, though this is subject to change. • Will the game be released on consoles? These GPUs have been reported not to work well with the game at the moment, updating your drivers may help, though if you are suffering severe issues consider waiting for a patch/driver update and sending TW any crash reports you can. • How do I mod the game? [Spoiler] So i just killed a 700 man enemy army, alone!

Decided to "declare a WAR on" someone. Went to meet his army and attack it and make it a starting point for this war. Just before i meet him on field, he meets like a "small looter group". As i am just behind him so i meet him on the field as helping party. While every one is happy that they "won" i accidentally head shoot one of the enemy archers trying to aim for last looter. Going this track i accidentally head shoot remaining troops replenishing arrows, bolts, throwing weapons from corpses. At the end he thanked me for helping him. Gained a lot of levels, also declared war on the 2nd army he had. It is not a bug, it is a feature! Submitted May 06, 2020 at 05:14AM by StainGuy https://ift.tt/3fpRcPM

What’s up with the admins on the EA(East Asia) server ?

Apparently players are getting perma banned from multiplayer for saying things against the Chinese government or having a winne the Pooh avatar on EA servers. Is this true? Someone got banned for 10 years! I’m not sure if any of this is true, does anyone know what’s going on? Please be patient with this game

The majority of people in this community are great and understand what EA is and how hard the devs are working. However I notice others who can’t seem accept this game is far from being completed. I don’t like to beat a dead horse, but it’s called Early Access for a reason. Taleworlds have said their focus is stability and performance improvements over adding new features to the game at this time. Until features are tested and stable, they won’t be added. Please stop saying the game isn’t good enough because it lacks features that are broken or missing. The reality is they wont be added over the next few weeks, but more likely the next few months or even years. Like any player, of course I want more content and I check this sub daily for news on the next update. You’re barely 1 month into an EA game. Appreciate what you have, rather than what you don’t. Also please appreciate that the devs working hard and have been releasing updates on weekends, all while WFH during this global cr

My wife killed me.

I was besieging a city and busted down the walls with fire onagers, then I personally charged the breach with my overpowered late-game armor and started massacring the poor AI using my Long Glaive. I was feeling like a god, having racked up a hundred kills on my own. Then a fucking fireball comes over the wall and noscopes me in the face. I look up to the kill feed and find that Liena - my pregnant wife - was the one who killed me. Presumably because I stole her armor after marrying her. 10/10 would play Crusader Kings 2: Banterlord again. Submitted May 04, 2020 at 06:38PM by Aurora_Fatalis https://ift.tt/2L2taMZ

Asian players are being censored/banned on MP

Good afternoon, according to Steam reviews, it looks like Taleworlds has given a Chinese team the moderation authority on Asian multiplayer servers, and these mods are banning any and all dissenting information that goes against their communist party. With all the praise they get here, this should not go unnoticed. Submitted May 04, 2020 at 04:56PM by Will12239 https://ift.tt/2L11RCQ

Chinese Censorship in Bannerlord Multiplayer

Recently the Chinese moderators running the East Asia server has been banning players left and right with CCP censorship. Several Taiwanese players had reported that they are banned from multiplayer for having username related to Xi Jinping or coronavirus : https://forum.gamer.com.tw/C.php?bsn=16393&snA=3344&tnum=2 The Chinese moderators stated their policies here: https://bbs.mountblade.com.cn/thread-2062564-1-1.html It would have been fair if they ban all political content, but according to another reddit thread, they had only ban things that are offensive to CCP. Insults against anyone other than CCP will not lead to ban: https://www.reddit.com/r/mountandblade/comments/gbfwgf/is_taleworlds_preparing_to_establish_other_east/fp659tq?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x Also, they are not just banned from the East Asia server, they cannot even log into multiplayer game. The East Asia server moderators can effectively ban players from even playing in North America and Euro

Is Istiana the only voice-acted NPC? She just scared the crap out of me.

So I'm sitting here, 12ish hours into a Bannerlord session. It's night, my house is completely dark and silent. I turned the music off in the game 10 hours ago to watch a youtube video and forgot to turn it back on. When I'm not in battle it's very quiet, just me and the sweet hum of procrastination. I finally get to move along the main questline and talk to Istiana, the city she's in has been hostile for ages. "DO YOU HAVE A PIECE OF THE DRAGON BANNER?" comes booming out of my speakers. I pooped my pants a little bit. Submitted May 03, 2020 at 05:58AM by Norgz https://ift.tt/2SrIwP6

I've written a website to help keep track of what perks actually do (or don't do)

bannerlordperks.com So since it seems like we might be stuck with a lot of broken perks for the next few months, I took it upon myself to start crawling through the game code and develop a resource for what each perk actually does. I've only done the first 6 skills for now, but should have all 18 within a week or two. Here's a few fun facts that I've learned so far: Someone fucked up and made the Two Handed: Extra Damage perk increase damage by 150% instead of the intended 1.5%. If a perk sounds like it might be hard to implement, it probably wasn't. Hope you haven't gotten to invested in your Bow, Crossbow, or Throwing perks. Only 6 perks total from those skills work at all. If you have any feedback or content suggestions, let me know either in this thread or on the website's "Submit Feedback" form.
