The defence of Suno collapsed, and along with it, Swadian Royal Authority

The beleaguered King stared into the middle distance. The Swadian Crown lands, once the most serene and temperate fields and forests in Calradia, was choking on an air of quiet death. Doom-mongers lingered through the refugee camps that littered the countryside, preaching of the nearing end of days. Forest bandits, broken men, the desperate and the destitute all found their next meal in murder, robbery and extortion. Vaegir woodsmen encroached westward through the forests, poaching Swadian game - and Swadian scouts - to pass the winter doldrums. In such dire times, nobles took to shouting what was once not dared whispered. Treasonous talk and grim prognoses strained the already dire morale of Swadian chivalry. And who could blame them? The King thought to himself, When there is little left that could stop them?

He looked across the bay of Praven. The loss of Uxkhal was a dreadful blow, but victory over the Nords earned badly needed confidence back. Still, two mountain hovels off the North coast can never make up for what was lost - not even Tihr would suffice. He paced around the curtain wall, and looked South.

The Rhodoks had been emboldened by their own success against the Sarranids, and their alliance against the Vaegirs frayed. If the Vaegirs wont be the death of me, they will.

South then, and ring the bells in every village and every town. Bring out the garrisons on the southern marches. Call all to arms, leave no hand idle, and leave not a moment to waste. Our foes will do the same. In the final effort we will find our faith, or find our peace.

The bells pealed their lament as white-haired veterans and hollow-eyed youths donned their maille and leather.

The King departed with the last of the knights remaining in Praven, determined to shake the earth under-hoof as his ancestors had. Let it thunder in heaven when we tilt our lances, let them hear it so far as Khudan!

Welcome to Calradic Campaign #49! This upcoming Saturday the armies of the kingdoms of Swadia and the Rhodoks will clash. The event shall begin with a best of 7 field followed by a best of 3 siege. Whoever wins the field will gain one castle - if they win the siege, they will gain a town and two castles. The fiefs up for grabs are - Yalen, Culmarr and Maras for the Rhodoks and Praven, Tevarin and Haringoth for the Swadians.

To participate simply join our server at the proper time as well as our discord to coordinate with your team!

Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.

Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - an unorthodox battle map, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!

If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband!

Donating to the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for years. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord.
