Co-op Bannerlord Campaign Mods?

Are there any mods that will let me play the campaign with a friend? i wanna : -be able to have me and a friend to be able to fight in battles together and maybe both command troops (like we both get a few formations) -be able to both have our own parties roaming the map doing shit I know this is probably difficult because of time stopping, slow downs etc but has anyone made a mod that does this? (like maybe the owner of the server gets control the time and if there is a battle, the other players fight in the battle as a companion or lord) I know there is persistent empires but its not what I'm looking for, i just want 2-4 player co-op campaign where you play on a friends server (like Valheim, Enshrouded, Palworld etc) has anyone done this? Or can we start a go fund me to get someone to make this. I'll chuck in I'm 600 hours in and I just wanna conquer Calradia with the boys :( submitted by /u/No-Veterinarian-3185 [link] [comments]

Fewer rebellions?

Is it just me, or are towns rebelling now way more seldom and mostly in the beginning of the game? I was planning to besiege a rebel town to create my own kingdom, but except one town quite in the beginning of the game there were no rebellions. Now almost a decade is past, some kingdoms own a third of the map and still no rebellions. 1.3 beta btw. submitted by /u/Celentius [link] [comments]

Trying to make mods work in 1.2.9.

Hello guys. Coming back to the game after almost a year of not playing. I'm playing a cracked version of the game (will buy the game in Steam once it gets discounted) and I'm trying to use some mods but it's not working. I DL it, extract it on the module file of the game and yet, it's not showing up on the Mods list. It's seems I'm doing something wrong I think. Can someone help me out regarding this? Thanks to everyone answering. submitted by /u/PainInTheSheep [link] [comments]

The first of many

And I was the one to do it! Playing Vlandia and these bastards have been a thorn in our side for a while (the majority of my fiefs are in Battanian territory from our first campaign against them, so when they’d declare war it was practically instant raids and sieges). Took Dunglanys, Marunath and subsequently Diathma. Needless to say I am very relieved submitted by /u/PastObligation863 [link] [comments]

Anyone else having problems with crashes recently?

For the last four or five days, I’ve been having gamebreaking crashes. I have no problems at all, through several hours of gameplay and multiple reloads, until I get to the point where it’s time to move on from being a mercenary, and it is at that point that the game just all of a sudden crashes repeatedly. It started on my EOE 1100 save, but I tried to play a vanilla game and the same thing happened, also after playing for some time. It’s almost as if something is building up, and it eventually gets to the point where even entering a menu crashes the game over and over. I tried deleting shaders, changing settings, etc., nothing I’ve tried yet works. I did a complete, clean reinstall of both the game and all mods, I changed to only using Nexus mods (none from Steam at all), and I had the same problem, but only after I got to the same point where I was thinking about not being a mercenary anymore. I read a bunch of stuff online where some people claimed it had something to do with up...

Modding animation

Hey y’all, I have some animations from blender that I wanted to bring into bannerlord and just change up possibly the punches or kick animation. How does the main quest work?

No mods, not beta. I would like to finally finish the campaign in my current playthrough. My culture is Battanian. I know that further in campaign I will be facing either three Empire factions or three most powerful non-empire factions. I think that it is easier to fight three Empires because I know that it will be Empires and I can weaken or even destroy them in advance. But I would like to clear what will happen after I complete the Neretzes quest to make my strategy for this playthrough. How will the game decice that I have to fight the empires or non-empires? It depends only on my culture or on some ongoing decisions? Is there any difference in campaign ending when I fight empire or non-empires? submitted by /u/xAMSTERRR [link] [comments]

Spear preference problem in RBM + RDM mods

Hi, newbee (at least in modded game) here. I have a question regarding spear preference mod. I am currently playing with rbm, re de militari and spear preference mods. I am using tier 2 unit as shown on picture, they have 50 one handed and 12! polearm, still they use polearm always, even when i turned the spear preference down (was 40 is 3 now still does not work). So basically they are using bad for them weapon now and die to looters. Is there a way to fix this, so that they use best weapon by skill and polearm against cav still? It can not be so that with all these mods only polearm troops are usable right? Other advices regarding weapon types management welcome. https://preview.redd.it/5heh2nc0n7xf1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ed57fcdec808935755dea543bd21015635c3040 https://preview.redd.it/ycwvfnc0n7xf1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa322672b49700e8cb92e7bf5ab68233bde0ce59 submitted by /u/dortmunder_player [link] [comm...

Vlandian (vanilla) armor asset lower quality than others factions?

Is it just me, or do a lot of the Vlandian armor assets in particular, and some from other cultures too, appear much lower in quality than others? The assets look much older and don’t have the same quality of materials as those from other factions. I guess Vlandia was made a long time ago, and TW never updated their assets to match what other factions got later in development? The Vlandian and higher tier Imperial laminar armor assets look nearly a decade apart in quality and materials. submitted by /u/pepperpeppington [link] [comments]

It is always the same clans that keep the fiefdoms

Does anyone know how choosing fiefdoms works? I made my own kingdom But when choosing the owner of a castle or town there are always the same three clans for candidates and I don't understand why, the new conquered castles can be on the other side of the map where they are far away and yet they continue to be chosen for candidates and I'm already tired of having clans with 4 or 5 properties and having clans with 1 or 2 if by some miracle they are selected for candidates. submitted by /u/ercin3 [link] [comments]

Mounts required to upgrading (suggestion)

Right now, I feel that cavalry isn’t really worth it unless you already have plenty of money or you recruit pre-upgraded units that don’t require investing horses. I’d like to ask the community here what you think about these two small changes: 1. No upgrade line should ever require more than one mount. For example, the Vlandian Vanguard needs two mounts — one mount plus one war mount . I think that makes this line completely not worth it. Likewise, I believe this particular line should only require one regular mount while for example, the knights line will still require war mounts. 2. When a friendly rider dies in battle, there should be a 10–20% chance to recover their horse. submitted by /u/El-Tapicero [link] [comments]

My little warband

Guys, any idea how I can use MLW to replace a culture’s troop trees? ChatGPT is telling me there should be a button “Assign to culture” but that doesn’t seem to exist. The only thing I can think of right now is to find an existing tree, go to the first troop (edit name etc), remove all the upgraded troops and then start adding my own. I’m guessing this doesn’t really affect the AI/NPC recruitment and spawn rosters though? Thanks submitted by /u/ImperialNavyPilot [link] [comments]

This game really needs to make the difference between retreat and rout.

I have noticed some pretty ridiculous aftermaths to the enemy retreating. The enemy army of 900 men retreats after 600 casualties, victory screen, the army is erradicated and you capture the lords. Makes sense. A 1600 army retreats from a siege due to their ram and tower being destroyed and having 300 casualties. Victory screen, the army is destroyed. What? Alright...? And the worse one. 20 dudes attack the keep, where the last defenders of a city are making their stand. They fail. The entire attacking army is disbanded and its nobles captured. Lmao. I really dig battles than don't end by killing a sizable chunk of the enemy, but not most nor all of them, like irl. But man, this game takes a single retreat as the entire force routing. Are there any mods that fix this? submitted by /u/LordPomodoro [link] [comments]

Started a playthrough were I only help other factions destroy one. While not joining other factions.

Instead of becoming a mercenary I pick one faction to take down and go to war with them constantly. I chose Vlandia because they have the most clans. At one point they were at war with Aserai, West Empire and Battania. All I did was help each faction siege and take castle on after the other. Really fun. submitted by /u/DoomRaider15 [link] [comments]

10 Easy improvements for Mount and Blade 2

So there are plenty of things that people think could improve the gaming experience in Mount and Blade 2 (better to start using M&B2 as with War Sails, we may be getting a myriad of different iterations of the game, at least hopefully) but we all know that many of these are either large asks at the end of the day or not something that actually fits in the base game and should just be left to mods. But then still, there are a handful of things that wouldn't be that difficult at all to implement that would enrichen the core experience just that slight bit more. The following list are things that would both improve that core experience without compromising anything for anything, and would be rather easy for someone at Taleworlds to implement. 1 - Get rid of the "clacking" when Camels gallop . As many know, a core difference between Horses and Camels is that Camels have feet and Horses have hooves. It's a large reason that Camels aren't seen that often in rocky ...

Why are Kingdoms and Clans all very poor?

1.2.12 Vanilla (ie not ROT or overhaul) Every Kingdom Bank is at 0 bar Western Empire All clans 4-5 tier are very poor Party’s going around with 9-30 men (while my 2 parties have 130+ I’ve set additional funding daily from Shadow Tweaks to counter this - daily 6000 - this appears to be pumping money back and making party’s larger Caravans are still running around the map Towns all have 50-90k gold restocking But without shadow tweaks, economy is not working right Mods that may be having an impact: Shadow Tweaks (currently helping) War Ai Tweaks (the new one) - vanilla tributes on Diplomacy (war exhaustion etc for War Ai tweaks off) I don’t have anything else that should be wildly impacting economy submitted by /u/Chesney-J [link] [comments]

How can I get the really good one horses? - Elaboration inside

Hi all, According to https://mountandblade.fandom.com/wiki/Horses#Bannerlord there are also modifiers to the, let's call it, "quality" of your horse, as follows: https://preview.redd.it/kedg6sv7g8vf1.png?width=944&format=png&auto=webp&s=e4eb757b177d49ad3ab931ebbc02b64bda959ccb The thing is never have I ever seen a Champion version of any of them (lots of Stubborn & lame, for sure) I'm currently using a Royal Destrier, but after looking for them in almost every city and village, I haven't found a single horse with a modifier of Heavy, Spirited or Champion; I've also look on some tournaments, I've defeated entire armies leaded by their kings, and still nothing... So the question arises on its own, where the feck can I get some T6 horse with a good modifier? Thanks in advance. P.S.: I've also been looking for Asaligat horses to give them to some of my companions (the horse archer ones), but I just can't find any of them, n...

1.3.1 Vlandia - Getting Wrecked

For the first time, I'm going with a full Vlandia playthrough. I'm a newer clan and have about 100 soldiers in my party. Mix of T5/6 Vlandian Swords/Sergeants, Vlandian Noble Cav Tree, and Crossbows. Trained up on the plethora of Sea Raiders and Bandits that now run around the map. I get absolutely wrecked in any engagements with an equal calibre Lord from the Empire or Sturgia. It's not even close. My frontline gets decimated and the crossbows seem totally ineffective. For those with much better idea of how to use Vlandia in the current patch, any tips, guides, or resources are welcome so I can improve. submitted by /u/sandiegospanishfor [link] [comments]

Separatism’s chaos start

Hey everybody, My absolute favorite way to play this game is through the separatism mod’s chaos start. It makes it so every land owning faction/clan (?) is independent at the start so instead of the huge kingdoms at the beginning there’s many many small ones. I think it gives the campaign a real sense of growth and progress. It also allows a much easier transition from minor clan to kingdom because when you start a kingdom most other kingdoms are small too. It also makes politics and relations a bigger deal because you really interact with the lords around you more often than when they’re just 1 of many lords under the kingdom. It’s just great for many reasons. The problem is the separatism mod is outdated and doesn’t seem to be getting updated any time soon. Does anyone know a way, possibly through commands, to achieve the same effect? Or does anyone know how to take this mod and update it? Is that a lot of work? Is anyone willing to give me a quick intro to modding and explain h...

Weird npc bug

So I have been going back to Bannerlord and doing merc run when yesterday I noticed that all of the npc lords have lost their weapons. They still have shields but they seem to have lost all of their weapons. I only noticed when during one of the sieges I saw Lord Peric charging into the enemy walls armed with only a shield... And his fist. A quick check and I saw that ALL the npc lords have lost their weapons. They have all their weapons at the start of the campaign. And making a new campaign confirms that their equipment set are good. So... Any reasons for this? Any fixes outside of going back a save or starting all over again? How are the Khuzuait in 1.3?

I'm sure many console players right now are wondering how the horsies are performing in the beta and if they're going to continue being the giant pain in the ass that they always are. My current experience is that we're still relatively early (10 years) in the game with all factions surviving, with Battania doing even better than the Southern Empire for a change. I've annexed Myzea, Syronea and a few nearby castles and am near the point of declaring a kingdom, except I've got the problem of Khuzu's controlling Onira, Danustica and other nearby settlements and are routinely marching two separate armies nearing the 1k mark. I genuinely despise how the endgame often always feels like the Khuzu are an uncontrollable nightmare that have to be addressed and how they get to that state far earlier than any other territory, so my question is: Are they still as annoying throughout the game in 1.3 or have they been somewhat adjusted? submitted by /u/SummonerRed ...

Are Khan's Guard overrated, or am I just using them wrong in the Beta?

New player (2 weeks) playing on Bannerlord except no player battle death, and I've been trying to consume as much knowledge as possible. Often 2 units come up as over-powered: Fian Champs and Khan's Guard. Fian Champs are absolutely a menace. I've started keeping them out of my army just because I felt I used them too much before. But Khan's Guard? I have to be using them incorrectly, because they die first in every single engagement. I normally only have like 10-15 of them, and they DO NOT last. It is well known the beta made ranged troops into little demons, but my Khan's Guard are dying so fast that they don't get to make as big an impact as I would expect. They get headshot out of their circle of death in a way that makes me feel its not even worth investing the exp and expensive mounts into raising them to actual KG. To be clear, I'm not sending them alone into 30-40 archers blocked by infantry, I'm sending them to pick off people who are outnu...

Is there a way to view active party size modifiers?

I got tired of fighting constantly and left the front lines to go work on my smithing skills for a while. My party size was at 326 when I started. After a while it randomly went up to 331, then down to 326 again, and is now down to 321. This all happened within a couple in game weeks. I havent been losing companions or changing any perks or anything. Unsure why the number is fluctuating but it's a bit annoying.
