Swadia stands defiant!

Originally forming an uneasy friendship after ending their long feud with the Vaegirs, the swadians welcomed military and economical cooperation.

As of late, anti-boyar rhetoric has rapidly begun to spread throughout Swadia, as links to Vaegir officials meddling directly into Swadian affairs become more and more clear by the day. Fears of being a mere puppet to the Vaegir war machine gripped the nation.

The weak link binding these two nations together was soon severed when /u/KingHarlausOfficial gave a speech denouncing the pact of Rivacheg as "the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals", though being quick to reaffirm that "Nobody makes alliances like I do"

Swadian forces have quickly moved to seize their old city of Dhirim before the Vaegir military can mobilize. This is looking to become total war.

In Meta Terms

Welcome to the 24th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the Swadians break their alliance with the Vaegirs and attempt to retake Dhirim.

Should the Swadians defeat the Vaegir patrols surrounding Dhirim, they will lay siege to their former center of trade. If the Vaegirs can delay the invasion long enough, they will move to seize Uxkhal to serve as a staging grounds for the war to come.

/u/KingHarlausOfficial will be leading the Swadians, and /u/Saultnami will be leading the Vaegirs. A marshal will be appointed if either cannot attend.

This event will be running the standard game modes - a field battle followed by a siege battle.

The field battle will be on battle mode, and it will be a best of 5 match - the winner gets to be the attacker on the siege map.

The siege map will be a best of 3 match - if the defenders win, the event is considered a stalemate and no territory changes hands. If the attackers win, they claim their prospective territories.

To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.

Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - a new deathmatch map so we dont have to use arena for 200 people, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!

If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband!

Donating to the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for over a year. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthy or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord.
