A new front has been opened in Calradia.
Sailing is second nature to any Nord, and King /u/Smug_Alpaca intends to capitalize on that strength. Beyond the icy reaches of the north lay a city practically begging to be plundered. As the occupation of Dhirim by the Kingdom of Vaegirs weakens its status as the trade hub of Calradia, the Swadian capital of Praven has become more and more wealthy due to it's naval shipping lanes
Raiding these shipments have made the Nords a substantial amount of gold, but the Jarls have much grander ambitions. Ryibelet Castle will be host to a phony invasion by Nord footmen, while the newly reorganized Grand Nordic Fleet will sail to the beaches surrounding Tevarin Castle.
Before they can attempt their amphibious invasion, The Nords will have to clash with the Swadian Royal Navy stationed at the capital. The Nordic Marines will fight with a savage ferocity, but the superior Swadian ships will prove to be a challenge to overcome.
/u/KingHarlausOfficial has heroically raced to dispatch his marshall to solve the problem, the king himself being occupied by other feasting activities. Should the Swadian navy be dispatched by the Nords, the valiant knights under Count Delinard will be waiting at the shore to meet them.
In Meta Terms
Welcome to the 33rd Calradic Campaign! This event will see the Nords fighting the Swadians at sea to secure a beachhead for their eventual conquest of Praven.
If the Nords successfully land on the shores of Swadian land, they will take Tevarin and Ryibelet Castle. If the Swadians can sink the Nordic longboats, they will strike back at Hrus and Chalbek. (This will be reflected on the campaign map)
Captain /u/SmugAlpaca will be leading the Nords, and /u/KingHarlausOffical will be leading the Swadian archers. A marshal will be appointed if either cannot attend.
The event will be a best of 5 battle map followed by a best of 3 siege.
To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign
The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.
Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - a new deathmatch map so we don’t have to use arena for 200 people, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!
If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband!
Donating to the Calradic Campaign
The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for over a year. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord.
