War has engulfed Swadia from every angle. A bloody stalemate with the Rhodoks to the south, a shifting border with the Nords to the North and the inexorable march of the Vaegirs from the east. Swadia may look westward to the sea, but that frontier is now contested as well. But the Swadians have proven that they can gain ground through the water. From its encounter with the Nords, the Swadian fleet emerged battered but battle-hardened.
While the Swadians were still licking their wounds, Sultan Arthanas of the Sarranids began to secretly amass a force off Swadia’s coast, designing to launch a surprise attack on the embattled kingdom. It was not until the force was nearly ready to launch that a common fisherman was able to warn King Harlaus and his court of the imminent attack. Repairs on the fleet are now happening around the clock and the garrison of Tevarin Castle is preparing to embark. It now falls them to stop the Sarranid invasion before it can begin. The Sarranids, meanwhile, must defend their clandestine island garrison. If not, the Swadians may well seize the initiative and turn the tables on them.
In Meta Terms
Welcome to CC#39! This event will see the Swadians and Sarranids square off for the first time ever. If the Sarranids can repel the attack on the island, they can move forward with the plan to seize Tevarin Castle. Otherwise, the Swadians will get the chance to attack Jamiche Castle. If either castle is taken, the change will be shown on the campaign map. /u/KingHarlausOfficial will be leading the Swadians and /u/Arthanias will be leading the Sarranids. If either leader cannot show up, a marshal will be appointed.
You are invited to join the Discord server for voice and camaraderie. This isn’t required, but it is recommended. No sign-ups are required, either. Simply show up on the day of the event and have fun.

The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.
Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - an unorthodox battle map, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!

Donating to the Calradic Campaign
The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for years. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute.
