I have googled this and found some old threads (1yr ago) said that AI have crazy or absurdly GOOD at throwing weapon, AI can kill you quickly even you behind the line as they said.
But as I am playing now they are crazy BAD with throwing weapon, my companions with javelins or throwing axes cannot land one hit ever, even the enemy is very nearly their face (if too near they will draw melee), they only hit when there is a large enemy group as they target one but hit another, even more horrible when mounting, so their throwing skill almost never improved when go with me. Now I have some Battanian skirmisher and also found they are not very effective with their javelins, they can still hit something since they are going with a group.
I also notice enemy has bad throwing but not as bad as my men, they can still hit you if you go near enough and idle.
Is the game patched that make AI bad at throwing so the game is playable? Or just I do something wrong? And is there any setting or mod that can make my companions good atleast?
