Best Version for Mods

I've had my share of adventures in this game, but recently, I saw how insanely entertaining the game becomes when mods are used! The problem is, when I had installed mods, almost 90% of them didn't work. Most of these mods I want to try sooooo badly, and I was utterly frustrated to find out that no matter what I do, they are not working 😥 Until I came to the realization that my game's latest version may be the reason why the mods don't work. So, I want to ask anyone with experience in mods: What is the perfect version I should downgrade my game to in order to render most of my mods functional? submitted by /u/Finaphogen [link] [comments]

anyone else struggling to play with mods on 1.8? I'm getting more crashes than i ever had.

mods are all 1.8 compatible. I have butter, harmony, extended ui and mod config menu all in right order. i check daily for updates

my games crashes and the save corrupts, also the saves before the crash also corrupts? so i cant even load a older save?

i have about 10 mods

(not in this order)

Edit: so apparently after reading all the posts on nexusmods it's "BanditMilitias" corrupting all saves on the campaign that uses this mod.

ill leave this up incase anyone else has this issue, its a pretty popular mod.

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
