Am I weird for getting emotional?

I just mount and warband, btw love the game.Ok so I made a warband and I got most of the named characters. Besides Borcha and Rolf and Alayen. My faction and I are at war with the rhodoks and I run into literally the only army that has more quality men then I do. King Graveth. It was a massacre. I pulled back so many times but in the end I was captured. When I escaped I found out I only had Firentis and nizar. I was a little sad because I thought they were gone forever. Until 2 weeks later. I go into a tavern in Praven, I was looking for a ransom broker. I look around only to find a book merchant. And fucking Matheld. I was so happy I went up to her and recruited her back on the spot. And so I went on a little crusade to get back all the friends I lost. All while being extremely happy during the whole thing. So am I weird for being so happy?
