What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? Help!!! Can’t attack groups of bandits, (even when it’s part of a mission like: “army of poachers”.) it says this when on the troop planning formation screen: “To start mission, you need at least one formation of horse archers.” But I have multiple horse archers… and the ready button is grayed out.

Greetings. I need assistance from someone more knowledgeable on this game. I just started a month or two ago, & basically my issue is that, when I go to attack bandit groups, or even attack poachers like in the mission “Army of Poachers,” the ready button is grayed out. Basically I get the attack or send troops menu, and if I click attack, on the screen where you set you troops formations, the ready button is grayed out, saying, “To start mission, you need at least one formation of horse archers.” But I do indeed have a few/multiple horse archers, so I don’t know what to do to fix this. Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong..? Anyone have any tips or ideas to fix this issue? Anyone experienced this themselves? (I’m on campaign.) I could attack bandits fine when I first started, and then all of the sudden a few days ago, it started doing this bs to me almost every time I try to attack bandits. I know i may sound stupid (im a beginner) how do you swing properly?

Troop allocation bug

I can't separate my horse archers and cavalry from my regular units. If I create a troop section for calvary it'll show up as 1 unit and the rest of my horse archers will be mixed into my archers, calvary mixed in with regular infantry. Lost ability to declare kingdom?

I’m quite late into my play through on sandbox mode where i chose not to declare myself as a kingdom, if i had to guess I own at least 80% of the map, and both the founder of my clan and his spouse are deceased and i’m currently playing as my children. Constant crashes

Wanna use cheats on Xbox? Here is how [GUIDE]

Note : I tried this method on my Xbox Series X, since savegames sync to the cloud, you should be fine on any platform(let me know) So i found this out randomly when i downloaded Bannerlord on my PC and to my surprise it synced all my Xbox savegames(hurray). Help! Can't get an heir.

Hi friends! I'm currently trying to get my character, female aged 35, to get married and have a child. However-, it feels like I'm locked out of anyone suitable for some reason? The "campaign.conceive_child" command in the console doesn't work, and instead just says "error" immediately afterword. None of the lords I've gone to want me married, either. Stuck Party Fix

Exactly what it says in the title; there's gotta be a way to both unfreeze and disband parties. 90% of the time when I've formed parties; they perpetually get stuck at a town or city, seemingly in some kind of slow permanent recruitment cycle, and whenever I try to disband a party it simply gets stuck in disbanding. REALISTIC BATTLE MOD not RBMK reactors... I started using it recently... I love the new challenge it brings to battles and realism as well, but r u also just as bummed that ur crafted 2h swords dont sell for overkill price like 30k-40k anymore. Also, does it really gets rids of GLAIVES AS WELL and other weapons? Damn... pros great challenging battles , balanced new weapons, raised prices of all weapons so it kind of works if u battle n loot all the time, ur bank won't break Cons so far(still new) Lots of weapon changes and removals likes glaives n whatnot Crafted weapons sell for less so definitely a steeper financial curve for new lads not so much for mid to late game andies. [POP] Do Companions Affect Quality or just Quantity of loot?

I've read conflicting information on how looting works in PoP. Some say companions (and troops) will reduce the quantity of loot, but that will only "cut off" the least valuable loot from the table. Others say more companions/solders will disproportionately affect quality loot, making high value loot that's sorted first/at the top of the loot table less likely to appear. Others yet say both the quantity and quality of loot are reduced. It doesn't help that the wiki isn't always accurate, like on whether 30+ right to rule prevents vassalage offers (wiki says yes, comments including recent ones say no). What army do you find the most fun to play with?

There was a time when I felt I was learning the game when I just took whatever soldiers were on offer. Then, I learned more about the game, and I went with Fian Champs because I wanted the most powerful units. Then, I figured I'd try an all-cavalry setup and I heard Khan's Guard were even stronger, so I went with a 2:1 of Khan's Guard and Elite Cataphract. But now, I think I've tried a lot of the most powerful army compositions you could have, and I'm ready to start a new campaign where I do a bit more of taking it easy. So let me throw the question out there: what kinds of armies have you found yourself having the most fun playing? What units make you feel like a genius or a badass to operate, or maybe has a gimmick you find fun? How can I help bolster the Khergit Clan? Preferably as a Khuzeit vassal.

From what I’ve gathered, it is not possible to join another clan. If that’s possible someone please tell me how. You can’t marry clan leaders either, and if you marry anyone from their clan, the person you married will join yours. Am I able to send my companions and family members to join their clan? And then can I trust them to start reproducing? If so then please share the steps how to do that. Wife isn’t getting pregnant

I married my wife at 22 & she was 20. When we first got married we had two heirs back to back. I’m talking within days she was pregnant, and about a month after giving birth she was pregnant again. I leveled up my charm attributes & selected the virile attribute making my character 30% more likely to have a child. It has now been almost 4 years since we had our last child despite her being in my clan & spending weeks or months in the same town as my character. My character is now 26 & she is 24. Any tips on how to get her knocked up? Super Companion only army composition?

So I got mods that let me recruit unlimited companions, and train them to be very strong (about 300 in every skill) What would be the best army composition with 20 and 50 companions respectively? To go up against 100~300 strong regular armies. All horse archer all the way works ok, but would it be better to have a few geared as heavy infantry? All heavy twohanded footmen? CRAZY LAG 1.2.0.+

Hi I have just played again after a long hiatus. I played with mods yesterday. Everything was running smooth even with highest settings on. high fps. Now I played again today. I was able to play for 30 minutes but noticed my PC getting really noisy. FPS stopped dropping. I restarted. Now when I launch game even from the main menu everything is laggy. I tried unticking mods. Still the same. Im currently running on latest version 1.2.+. Is it just me or do all the names sound like they're from a random word generator?

This is something that kind of struck me as soon as I looked at the world map for the first time. Jaculan, Saneopa, Caladog... does anyone else think the proper names in Mount and Blade sound really generic and random? Like they were decided by dice roll or throwing darts at syllables or something? They're obviously not random because there are some traces of consistency, such as the use of the letter Q in Aserai city names or Battanian clans starting in "fen". Every time I open a character tab/page in the encyclopedia after opening it the first time it gives me an error

Whenever I first open the encyclopedia on to a character it doesn’t happen but every subsequent time it says “error: value cannot be null” It only does this for characters (and just found out for troops) not for villages or towns. This is on 1.2.0 beta on the steam version for pc. About crashes and corrupted saves

I have 28 hour save files all corrupted. Auto and regular save files. I looked it up and they corrupted after a known bug happened (failing bandit camp with the Radagos dude mission where you have to save your brother. So now I'm checking. My game is in 1.1 something version. There's so many bèta's 1.9 even. I think it's the latest? But It's in beta. But 1.9 if I look It up was released when the game came out of early Acces so what am I playing the early Acces version? And why would I have to select the non early Acces version as a beta version if it's not beta? Which version do you play and are people still getting crashes and corrupted save files frequently? (It did take 28 hours) is there a way to not have your files corrupted (proven way not folklore) is there a reason why we are at 1.1 but beta already at 1.9? Is it even beta should I get that one? Basic advice

I’m really playing this game for the first time since shortly after it became available and I’m confused because I’ve heard it’s difficult being a vassal for a lord. I’ve spent most of my game traveling the Khuzait(?) lands doing tasks and doing mercenary work, but I want to move up. I’ve got some income coming from workshops and a caravan, finally getting surplus each day. What I want to know - Should I become a vassal for a lord? No longer a simp for Rhagaea

My name is Achilles, I married Ira the daughter of Rhagaea. My goal was to unite Calradia under the southern Empire. First we took half of the Aserai territory with ease. I gained Razih and Hubyar for myself. Then we waged war against the western Empire. I saved Rhagaea when she was outnumbered, defeated thousands of enemies, capturing three castles personally and three fiefs Zeonica, Amitatys, and Jalmarys. I still didn’t received any new territory but I assembled an army to take Ortysia and thought surely this will be my prize. A beautiful, prosperous city on the coast. But no… We took the city but I lost the vote by 1% to Tynops. And the western Empire sued for peace afterwards leaving me with nothing after all my incredible efforts this campaign. I was furious. I carried this Empire on my back. I led the army. I was the first one on the walls. And Rhagaea voted for him over me. I had enough! I disbanded the army except for Tynops’s party and led him deep into the Aserai desert....

Questions from a new player

So I just started my second play through after I went into my first one completely blinded and ended up a prisoner for what felt like a century. I have been reading a lot of tips that you guys have given and decided to go the mercenary route. I have a few questions though. Troops: Should I be making up my army of the best troops from one kingdom? Or can I do like Battanian Fians and Sturgian Linebreakers as I see both of those are popular Kingdoms: Does is matter which kingdom I become a merc for? Should I just choose the most powerful one? Why is it impossible for my kingdom to finish wars out?

Every time we’re whooping an enemy kingdom, a peace offering comes up and everybody instantly accepts. We could be on the doors of their final town and they would still vote for the 4K tribute they’re offering. Ridiculous. I spend all my influence organizing a huge army to make a run through their territory and suddenly we’re at peace. New Player Questions

Hey all, I recently started playing the game and have been loving it so far. Just had a couple of questions I was hoping you guys could answer. First is - no matter what the situation is, if I'm meeting an enemy army in an open field battle, they have the same tactics 100% of the time. I'm starting to wonder if the mods I have broke the AI. Right now I have 168 troops, and no matter what size the enemy army is, this is what they do - infantry makes a shield wall in the middle, archers behind them, calvary to both sides. I am winning battles against 200 troop armies without losing a single soldier by riding out to the calvary on either side, baiting them into following me, then using a bow to shoot all of their horses. Repeat on both sides. Then with a spear I solo ride into their archers, decimate them, charge my infantry and run my calvary behind their line to charge in as soon as the 2 groups clash. Tips for starting your own faction!!!!

As someone who struggled the first few times venturing out on my own and starting my own faction I thought I’d give my strategy incase anyone else was going through the same thing, I that you need atleast a mil before u try to start your own faction, at first I thought that was abit much but this is right maybe even more as you will have to pay some factions tribute straight away as the ai attacks smaller and weaker factions, which in turn means every faction is most probably going to declare war on you, imo the best way to tackle this is is pay off the bigger armies first and leave atleast 2 maybe three if they’re smaller factions at war with u as you can’t manage to fight them all at once, with this being said at the start of the game it would seem near impossible but hopefully with ur placement on the map you’ll be able to defend the waves of enemies, now with that said the best location in my opinion is the stugarians towns of revyl and varcheg, with it being in a cornered part of...

347 kills in the longest defense so far for me. PS5 & Controller use

I have looked for an answer on these a good while now. I can't seem to find an answer that seems to work for me. The issues are when I am on horseback: 1) I can't figure out how to "couch" with a lance. The little icon is there, but I can't seem to make it work 2) How do you charge? I have tried pressing square for both. I have also tried double tapping on the controller left stick (forward) to "charge". Nothing seems to work. Warband FPS problem

Recently when i played Warband and it's mod, i noticed my game fps dropped badly whenever i sped up. Normally i know the game have a lot to process during speeding up but this time the fps drop down to 5fps. This got to the point when at normal spred it drop down between 10-30fps. I've heard about memory leak problems that happened when you save scumming many times. Is there anyways to fix this problem besides reinstall the game ? What's the point of caravans or workshops

In my campaign they bother cost upwards of 20k but only produce like 63-127 for workshops and 156-239 for caravans which is nice I guess but for how much it costs workshops will take forever to turn a profit and a caravan will be demolished by war before it turns a profit so am I using it wrong or is it just not worth it. submitted by /u/ssssssdee [link] [comments]

Quick tip for console players

If you dislike using the cursor and tired of D-pad spamming buy a cheap Bluetooth dongle mouse and use that to navigate the menus, the game switches inputs instantly. You can also use it and a controller at the same time to fight if you wanted to. (I've not done this so can't confirm if it even works that well) I've been using a small laptop mouse for menu navigation for the last 4 days and it's made a world of difference in my life. [MODDING HELP] Snow in Scene Editor?

I've been messing in the BL scene editor, and when messing with the Map Icon Prefabs on any scene I make, there are spots in the scene's area that give it a snow overlay? I imagine this is how the devs tackled snowy settlements without having to make a whole bunch of separate snowy assets, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where the source is? Is it possible to restart or remove quests in Warband?

I've been playing Clash of Kings 8.0, and there's a quest that has a 5-10 day time limit, after that it seems to be impossible to continue if you don't finish it. The quest has no time limit (say 30 days or whatever), it's just stuck in my quest log. Is there a way to either possibly reboot the quest, or remove it altogether from the quest log? I can't rollback the save as I picked it up awhile back. I tried using the save editor but couldn't figure out a way, whatever changes I made just crashed the game. [POP] Lag/stutter during large battles with a good PC?

I get a lot of stuttering and framedrops with occasional freezes lasting a few seconds, on top of generally low FPS. RAM is also less than half full. I have a fairly modern/powerful rig (3950x/3080) which I figured would be more than enough to max all the settings on a 10+ year old game. I've also checked CPU/GPU usage and they're both very low with RAM less than half full. I've tried setting the buffer size to 512 (and bigger values too) which seems to help, but not by much. Siege and Caravan materials, roads and small changes (and forced marches) CONSOLE

Befor I get into I also want point out how fast paced this game considering the immersive nature devs are going for. The simple resource management for sleep and materials used to build siege engines or caravan wagons (whatever the proper term I don’t have my research in front of me) and the roads needed for traveling by saddle and wheel? What if wagon wheels broke while you traveling around the map a lot without stopping or if traveling thru the steppe or in heavily wooded areas and thru snow, etc. What if we could petition for the commission of building new roads and then actually have the highways constructed like a siege engine but on the over map? Connect a Sturgian city with a southern empire city and buff out return on caravan investment whilst ‘skill check’ resolving a portion of all caravan related issues by encouraging all carvans to use the highway (collect tolls would be dope). [AWOIAF] White walker invasion

So long story short i messed up and only built the obsidian mine around day 760+ so now it's day 894 and I only got around 800 obsidian troops while the White walkers have around 11K+ combined(6K+ on the Night King and 3K+ another white walker and 2K+ on another white walker party) I sent around 10 lords on the NW but their still getting wrecked. So i downgraded my game because i wanted to use the RTS free camera mod. I hoped, that i could still play on my save file from never version, but it doesnt work. How do I gain Fiefs?

I am playing on my first playthrough and I have hit a bit of a snag. I don't know if this matters as much as Warband, but I am playing as a woman. I am sitting on a stable pile of 1 million denars from smithing. I signed on as a vassal to the Vlandians, married into the royal family, specifically Amorcon, and was quickly granted Sargot and Thactorae Castle as fiefs. I helped with some massive pushes that got us some rebel fiefs, pushing into Aserai, Battanian, and Sturgian territory. I have been maintaining a standing army of 100-150 tier 4-6 troops. Until recently, I had been in every major campaign, leading the charge attached to other armies (I led one campaign to take a rebel town, but Derthert got the credit). Suddenly, I have been smashed every time I go to link up with one of our armies. Seriously, I have had to rebuild my forces 4 times now, and I just started on my 5th, and I am getting angry. Glitch or Wtf.

So I accept a Help with Brigands quest kill one band and poof there's not a single band in range for the rest of the duration. I've seen the quest in villages and explored around first and didn't find a single band, no looters, no bandits or bandit base, no nothing. So wtf is going on with the Help with Brigand quest? I'm seeing it in almost every single village I go to and 9 times out of 10 theres.no brogands of any kind around. I've only noticed it recently l, playing on Series X. Will pledging vassalage while having the "create/support non-imperial kingdom" force me to progress the quest with "support"?

I wanted to try to take a small castle that was marooned away from it's parent nation, but I apparently can't making an army (even though I have about 400 troops in the parties I have deployed) because my clan is only tier 3 and I only have about half of the renown I need for t4. Can I vassalage for renown or will this ruin my plans to create a kingdom? Also, screw whoever designed this abysmal, idiotic mess with creating armies. If I want to be a bandit/independent faction and take a castle then fuck off and let me do it. If I can recruit enough people do so, why tf do I need to spend 20hrs grinding renown with tournaments? Yeah the siege command bug is frustrating but what's even more frustrating is the fact that we're at war with 4 factions at once and this 1k man army comes to help with a siege that only has 85 defenders when they could be attacking or defending anywhere else. Noble troops of Vestr Sturgia and West Empire + new mercenary group

The mod ideea is very simple: Vlandia conquered half of Calradia about 200 years before bannerlord and managed to keep some form of control for 150 years, so military discipline and gear passed to much more factions. Some factions will be relocated and most split creating new cultures up until bannerlord timeline, with the Khuzaits and a new faction alike them becoming the threat Vlandia was 200 years ago. Right now i’m playing a bit with the vanilla gear to see how much i can divert their looks while still mentaing some originality apart from Vlandia and their original culture. You can check my other posts to see more troops. From what i have encountered so far, the game needs more helmets with faceguards and leg&hand gear. Apart from this i Believe creating more distinct tabards over mail for each color and each symbol, and simply darken or lighten some pieces to match better. Question on the Aserai

It's my first run and I'm playing with Vlandia, and everytime our armies have to fight against the Aserai, if it wasn't for our cavalry we would be just destroyed, I don't understand how Aserai infantry is so strong compared to Vlandia's (or anybody else's actually). So my question is, is it just my run or is it normal? Very Late Game Guide?

Hello! I’m at the point where I’ve achieved imperial victory by beating* Aserai and Khuzaits. However it’s impossible to make peace with Vlandia (which took all of Battania and parts of Western Empire) and Sturgia (which makes a comeback all the time due to rebellions.) Clan is Tier 6 ( 22 Clans - 16 Imperial, 4 Khuzait, 2 Aserai ) Southern Empire, Northern Empire, Aserai, Khuzait are basically gone… apart from happy homeless lords running around looting villages. Western Empire is about done 3 towns, 2 castles = acts as a buffer/shield. Battania has 1 town. Sturgia is beatable but then we have to defend from Vlandia which spams multiple 1,2-2k armies. Cannot get any Sturgian lords to join even with 100 relation, any towns taken = rebel. Vlandia keeps spamming armies, no matter if you have 30-40 of their prisoners they’ll send their 11 year old grandchildren to attack. Bannerlord Solo Clan World Conquest Speedrun

I haven't posted on here in a while, figured this might be of interest to some people - https://youtu.be/zAOQZO9rxsU Basically I did an in-game speedrun where I tried to do a world conquest using only one clan, no executions, no smithing, no exploits, no cheese, etc. I've got info on how to get to clan tier 1 on day 1, clan tier 3 within the first week or so and start a kingdom in just over 1 year. Former kingdom war

So I had a kingdom I made that I destroyed because the starting position was indefensible with just my clan, after I destroyed it i abdicated and joined vlandia. Some time after I started executing aserai nobles( got like 60 in one batch because they had one city left) and after that derthert declared war on my previous kingdom, calling the leader vile in the vote. Now I'm wondering what's supposed to happen, it says in the diplomacy screen that there is no one in the kingdom and I'm curious about what will happen if I leave vlandia. Where'd all the Bandit Base Nearby and Associate Captured by bounty hunters missions go?

So I've got a playthrough going, early, but even earlier than where I am now whenever there was a bandit base there was almost always B.B.N. and or Bounty Hunter missions to farm cash off. Now all of of sudden all I'm getting is Help deal with brigands missions, and all the people want is 2 groups taken out for like 500 or so dinars. It's a far cry from the 3-6k I was making doing the B.B.N. and/or B.H.. Anyone get granted way too much land in war?

In my current game as Vlandia we went to war with the sturgians, nothing too out of the ordinary. My clan tier is 4 and I married a vlandian noble woman so I’m pretty much going all in on Vlandia. We get into the war and the first castle we take goes to me, awesome now I have an actual holding. We crush sturgia in almost every battle as I am banner knight maxing and go on to take the two western cities of sturgia. Then they both get granted to me. I’m not complaining at this point but when we take everything other than Tyal and it all gets granted to me even when I vote against myself it starts to get a bit annoying. So now I am basically the king of sturgia and I own everything save for one city. The war ends and I return to the west to buy more gallants. Then before I get there battania attacks us, so after some recruiting I go back to war as it’s pretty close by. Vlandia takes a city and a castle before I get there and both are granted to me. At this point I’m getting really annoy...
