Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Confusion about the mods.

I'm really confused about the ranking on the sidebar. IMO Viking Conquest is #1 with diplomacy and no other alterations coming in at #2 (it makes the game far less tedious). I don't wanna take away from the modders hard work but I feel like all those mods mostly take away from the game rather than add to it. Am I freaking crazy over here?
