Where to begin... So the Battanians get into their fateful war with Vlaandians, but the western empire declared war upon their new Vlaandian neighbors. The western empire and the battanians pushed back the Vlaandians, but then the Aserai attacked the Western Empire. The Vlaandians made peace with the Battanians to focus their efforts on the western empire, and though the Battanians were doing well on their own, the Sturgians declared war on them. Battanians lose Flintolg castle but gain the Kranirog and Mazhadan castles, and then they claim Sturgia-owned Epicrotea during the Sturgian's battle against the Western Empire. The Khuzait declare war on the Sturgians and claim Tyal from them, so the Sturgians make peace with the Battanians to focus on the Khuzait. The western empire loses ground to both the Aserai and the Vlaandians, so they are forced to make peace with the Vlaandians. Bannerlord seems to contain a lot of features which the devs played around with in Viking Conquest, which makes me wonder whether or not naval combat or warfare will be a thing in bannerlord. I understand the new map doesn't necessitate naval travel as much as Viking Conquest's map did, however there is Lake Parasos (the Southern lake) which is dotted by many coastal villages and forts, meaning the option of naval travel would have a fairly big impact on the game strategically wise
