Shokuho loading times

Hiya! Just started Shokuho! First impressions of the actual gameplay are very positive, but I'm finding it hard to get to it. It's obviously in need of some serious optimization. Seems like every time I visit a new area, I have to wait for a long time, sometimes many minutes, for "shader compiling." [PoP] How do I start out in Pendor?

A lot of people have suggested this mod to me and I tried doing what I usually do, which is recruit peasants and fight bandits. But I don't have enough money to recruit more than 5-6 and the bandits were mounted and destroyed my peasant army. No idea what to do tbh

Also should I pick the letter option on character creation? It sounds like that gives you a claim over Pendor. Does that change gameplay at all and if it does is it for better or worse? Does it make you a noble as I usually like RPing as some rando commoner who came from nothing but got to the top

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
