In the previous versions of the game I remember that setting horse archers to "charge" would make them circle the enemy while showering them with arrows, and "engage" will make them retreat from enemy's melee range while shooting as they retreat. In this version it doesn't seem to be working that way? I've sent them to charge and about half of them went melee and the other half was randomly walking around, shooting at the shieldwall's shields. What commands should I be using for Horse Archers? I’ve put over 200 hours into Warband so far (probably around 50 in my current campaign) and I have yet to beat the game. Still having a great time, I’m the Marshal of the Sarranid Sultanate and am the lord of 4 castles and 5 villages. Despite the fun I’m having, I would like to beat the game. What’s the best way to get on the path to “beating” the game?
