And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
A long time ago, I was doing a Nord playthrough. We were at war with both Swadia and Vaegir. I took over the Vaegir city of Curaw.
Unfortunately, the fighting was rather bloody. By the end I only had about forty men left, half of which were unconscious. Still, the city was mine, and I figured it would not take long to regrow my army.
Then suddenly the Butter King himself rolls up with an army of over 1000 Swadians (no exaggeration - I counted.) He immediately besieges the city.
I'm thinking: "Curaw isn't so far from Sargoth. Ragnar will surely come to my aid."
And guess what the next message I received was?
"King Ragnar is holding a feast in Sargoth. He invites you to attend."
The message I received after that?
"King Ragnar has decided to give you Curaw."
Mere seconds later, the Swadians attacked, and I had to hold them off with only 30-40 men. Needless to say, my reign as Jarl of Curaw was short-lived. When I finally got out of prison, I renounced my oath to Ragnar and rode south to join King Graveth of the Rhodoks.
