I know a lot of players don't stick to a monotone cultural getup when they play, but a lot of players probably do what I do; try to stick to culturally appropriate armours and weapons for the culture I am playing. I take this mentality with me to smithing as well, where I try to smith and use weapons that suit my characters culture appropriately. But I have some exceptions; I often use animal pelts for shoulder armour when playing as a Vlandian or Imperial. If I play as a Sturgian I may use some Khuzait armour. And if I play as a mercenary or Lord for a different cultural faction than my character is from, I may use a mix of regional armours and use my own culture for a weapon. Example; I played a Nord corsair mercenary for the Empire. I used gilded scale Imperial armour with gilded scale shoulderguards, golden pirate gauntlets and boots, and a brass Aserai helmet with a Nord one handed sword with gilded pummel and handguard. Rune weapons are generally not worth it now, especially with the 2 qualis gem upgrade cost. There are matching or better regular/unique weapons. Spend that on potions or establish knighthood order chapters.

Farm honor by releasing Noldor nobles/knight/maiden. Let NPCs do the capture work with marshall army. Then hold feast or ask them to go to your fief so they will all dump the prisoners in your hands.

Make money the same way as above. Hold a feast and then you will gain hundreds of prisoners from the lords(mid to late game only though).

Spend first 3 qualis on Elixir of Arkon. You get most worth that way.

If not completionist or look for specific CKO equipment unlocks, the 2 Noldor Lords and Maltise unlocks are the only ones you need since they are the strongest. Ask for qualis gem from the others.

Train and equip CKO the moment you get a walled fief. It takes forever.

You get 90% discount from previous equipment on money and time when replacing the CKO equipment.

Easiest way to farm knighthood order rank point is bounty quest. There no upper limit of how many rank point you can gain as long as you keep killing the target without turning in the quest.

Do the grandmaster quest as early as possible(when you can of course). Enhancing your equipment is free but takes a long time, especially body armor(60~80 days).

With high honor, you gain lords just by capturing good natured lords and then they will offer to join you. Avoid lords with bad personality at all cost.

Get leadership to 10. It saves a lot of money on your troops.

Get trainer skill on everyone as high as you can. That's how you get useful troops after mid game.
