Crafted weapon bug after loading

Hi, I just encountered this bug. After loading the game my crafted weapons have very small or zero stats. Javelins, 2h swords, 1h swords, polearms, all of them. I've been playing with mods for a long time, but now was the 1st time it happened to me. I saw some posts about this, but haven't found any solution for this. No game fixes, no mods. Do you have any idea how to prevent this bug, or what causes it? Any workarounds? submitted by /u/tothacka [link] [comments]

Bug in today's Viking Conquest patch (2.049)

Warning everyone that today's VC update has a gamebreaking bug that turns every party on the map into a single faction: https://steamcommunity.com/app/48700/discussions/6/1290691308576778063/?ctp=157#c1768133742959897025

I'd suggest preventing Steam/Gog from updating if you can until it is sorted out. I am sure the VC developers are working on fixing it, but there could be delays in pushing another patch out, especially with today being Friday.

If you use any of the large VC mods (Dark Age, Balance Mod) this shouldn't affect you, as long as you reinstall the mod (automatic updates overwrite mods). Installing the current versions of those mods will for the most part roll you back to 2.044, the prior version.
