Mod Suggestions

Hey all, I've been playing Bannerlord for a while now and LOVE it, getting more and more into modding through the Steam Workshop, and was looking for a specific mod that you guys would suggest. Id like, if possible, to apply different color schemes to certain troops in my army but not others. I'm trying to create the troop trees of certain Medieval Total War factions through the My Little Warband mod, and my next project is the Principality of Antioch. I'm fine with the majority having their red sigil on blue field combination, but adding in the blue/yellow of Edessan Knights and the black/white of Hospitillars would be awesome. Does such a mod exist? I have Persistent Banner already to keep my white/black Teutonic Knights when fighting for Vlandia, but thats as far as ive delved into color mods. If anyone knows what im looking for, I'd be very thankful. submitted by /u/BoilingHotCumshot [link] [comments]

What kind of character do you want to roleplay as in bannerlord? What kinda story do you want to tell?

I personally wanna start in Sturgia, trade some furs, gain a few followers, but my character (hereby known as MC) wants some adventure, to make a name for himself. So he and his followers leave the frozen north and travel to the empire. Do they do honest work? LOL no. They raid, Rob and pillage, till they reach the cities of the empire, where they soon get involved in organized crime.

MC does their jobs, kills who they tell him to, takes whatever he can, that is till he gets sick of it. Having grown a larger following he kills those he takes orders from and takes over their businesses. Sinking his funds into purchasing more legitimate businesses as well as securing his hold on the underworld.

In doing so he makes connections, fights as a mercenary in the Imperial army where he masters how to command troops and continues to grow his own forces, when not out fighting he is continuing to kill his rivals in the underworld and buying up more businesses.

After a long time away, having built up his own pseudo-empire through his domination of the Imperial criminal networks and connections with powerful individuals within the empire, he returns to his savage homeland with a force of professional soldiers, and takes on the role of a mercenary in the king of Sturgia's army. With the aim of becoming a Lord, and sparking a civil war to become the king of Sturgia. He will then begin to expand, conquering the Nords and Battarians, before launching an assault against the so-called "civilized" kingdoms of Calradia, where his barbarian hordes will sweep across Calradia like a merciless plague. Putting all to the sword and torch till all recognize him as the one true king of all of Calradia.

Of course this is very VERY long term plan, and will probably be reset multiple times as new updates come out, and of course the final part of him becoming king won't be possible till the nessecary updates come out to allow for kingdom management and the like. But that's how I wanna roleplay in bannerlord.

What about you guys?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
