I am making this post in light of recent events, especially the news that broke just today about many different titles. If you're here to tell me that EGS is good for the industry, is healthy "competition", or anything similar, please refer to the following

Lately there has been a huge trend of multiple titles being poached from Steam by the Epic Games Store. What is really interesting about these is that each one seems to have been delayed from their original release date/release window right around the time that the EGS allegedly contacted these developers to create these exclusivity deals. Many of these titles were already posted on the steam store only to be ripped away at the last minute without the user or Valve's knowledge ahead of time. These developers have been using Valve's platform for free advertisement for their product until they switch to a different storefront.
We are all looking forward to M&B Bannerlord. We all want it to succeed. But right now the game is delayed for an indeterminate amount of time. Right now the game is up/being advertised on the steam platform. And this franchise is a gold mine. It would make sense for someone to see this as a target for poaching.
I am not asking for this game not to appear on multiple storefronts. I am not asking for a steam exclusive. But please, please, please, Taleworlds. Think of your consumers before making a decision like this (if it is at all on the table). Do not force us to use a platform with the monumental amount of problems, only some of which are listed above, you are better than that.
Put it on the Epic Games Store. I don't care. No one cares if you do, but do not make it the only place to purchase it.
I don't imagine this post will be well received. It will probably be downvoted for being tinfoil-hatty or because some people believe the EGS is healthy competition (paid exclusives are not competing against anything, just screwing the consumers). But if only for the chance that people at Taleworlds somehow catch sight of this, I am going to post it.
Remember your consumers. Remember the people who have stuck by you.
