How m&b has prepared me for modern games

So, this is certainly the longest I've ever played the same game, going on 15 years now. I remember downloading the beta and paying $4 for my game key back in 2004. Been playing off and on since, on pc and console. With the growing trend of game companies to release half finished games (looking at you no man's sky, fallout 76 and anthem), mount and blade really have me the patience to wait for better, complete versions of those games. I've learned to enjoy what they had to offer now, and be patient for what is to come. And now some nostalgia- anybody else remember weapon training in the arena with kradus? Or when you could get him and xernia and dranton in your party? Remember selling slaves to the salt mines? Good times.
