How to fix bandits/outlaws not running away from me and always chasing and attacking me

If you encounter a problem where bandits for some reason follow and attack you on sight on the world map no matter how big your army is compared to theirs, here's how to fix it.

How did this happen? You helped a bandit party in a fight, which raised your reputation with them. This somehow results to them not being afraid of you and always trying to attack. They must think you a punk since you helped them or something.

How do I fix it? You need to edit your save file. Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband Savegames And find whatever mod you're playing currently. Open the folder. There you'll see all your saves, now find the one you play on (its "Date Modified" graph will be the latest date and time). Make a backup of it somewhere just in case.

Download "Mount & Blade SaveGame Editor & Converter" off of ModDB. Open the program. "Import new save". There you will need to provide path to the Module you're playing. If you play something you downloaded from ModDB, the path will look like this: Steam\SteamApps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Bannerpage. If it's a module from workshop (for example, NativeSimplePlus), path will look like this: C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\48700\1349003804 where "48700" is Warbands ID and "1349003804" is workshop module's ID.

Then you need to provide path to your savefile, the one you play on. It's in the C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband Savegames.

A window will open and you'll see a lot of variables. You need to find factions variable. Open it to see it's contents. Search for fac_player_faction.Before the fac_player_faction there should be a number, it looks like this #12 or whatever number it's in your case. Remember that number, cus this is your player faction's ID. Now, in the factions tab, find the bandit faction that's annoying you with their suicidal charges. In my case, it was Forest Bandits, so I open #28(fac_forest_bandits). Once you open this tab, find #relations and open it too. There, you'll see a lot of variables like relation (0), relations (1), relations (2) and so on. Find the one where the number parenthesis matches player faction ID. So, since my player faction is #13(fac_player_faction), I look for relations (13) in the relations tab for forest bandits. I find it, then set the value to -0.05.

Then you need to go back to your player faction variable #13(fac_player_faction) in my case, in you case # number will probably be different. Open relations. Find relations (NUMBER) where NUMBER corresponds to bandit faction's ID. Since #28(fac_forest_bandits) were the ones annoying me, I find relations (28) and edit the value to -0.05.

That's it.

Now export the save to your savegame folder and overwrite if asked. That should fix your problem.

Spent some time yesterday trying to fix this annoying issue, shoutout to feller named jared9929 for providing a fix 10 years ago.

If problem persists, do the same for #14(fac_player_supporters_faction) . These are your allies.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
