What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

Anyone else get stuck on how to proceed?

I always get to the same point in my campaigns, be they story or sandbox, where I simply cannot seem to get much further.

It's usually around the time I've hit clan tier 2 or 3, and whether I choose to join a faction or not makes no difference.

If factionless, I either wander the map aimlessly doing odd quests, tournaments, getting a wife etc, but never seem to be able to increase my party size by any meaningful amount, or progress towards my stated goal of starting my own faction over joining and uplifting another.

If I do join one, it's more or less the same except my brain-dead faction leader is running around declaring wars he cant win, or getting 90% of his nobles captured, losing cities etc. This leaves me roaming the map, unable to catch up to parties weaker than me that I can stomp, but unable to do anything about armies numbering in the hundreds that do all the enemy's heavy lifting. Eventually, the faction is either destroyed, or I just lose interest in several hours of monotonously fighting the inevitable.

I've got 1000 hours in this, so I'm hardly new but I wouldn't call myself seasoned as I haven't progressed past the "homeless roving bandit" phase for quite some time now. I did manage to get a faction off the ground once but was immediately declared on by everyone and stomped into the ground within about 30 irl minutes, so I've never really managed a faction or anything, but I'm damn good at fighting, just not with larger parties or armies, I'm not very experienced with that.

I thought I'd make a post to see if I can get some help to get through this wall, as I feel I'm missing out on half the content.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
