Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

One Vlandia, Under Mod - Calradic Campaign #42

It was never meant to be personal.

The late King Graveth's gambit all those years ago was one of necessity. The people were underfed, overworked, and on the verge of full scale revolutionary activity. A common enemy was needed.

It was supposed to be a simple target...

...But Graveth, former king of Rhodokia and loather of cats, was far from versed in the skill of calculated betting.

The army was crushed, scattered to the sands along with hope for the future. The hatred that was bred on those deserts survived, and the Rhodoks and Sarranids have viciously warred since.

Perhaps the most bitter rivalry among the lords of Calradia, the two kingdoms have paid each other back many times over: Jelkala sacked and recaptured, Almerra turned into a state of anarchy, and both Hakim and Graveth alike succumbing to the wars known as the "Crusades".

Their successors have not showed any signs of deescalation, continuing the endless flood of violence in many more battles. King /u/Perjunkie of Rhodoks has continued his predecessor's defensive strategy, defending the capital at all costs after it's reclamation by the founder of the Rhodok Republic, the late Lord Cakus.

Sultan /u/Arthanias of the Sarranids remembers the day that Jelkala was wrestled back from him all too well. Holding back until the time was right, he has now decided to once more take up the sword against the republicans of the west.

The leader of the Sultanate is a clever man: He could never hope to sack the city after it's repairs and reinforcements, at least alone. Some historians argue that the city would have remained in Sarranid hands if not for the Vaegir lords that Cakus had won over previously arriving in the nick of time to bolster the attackers' resolve.

But the Vaegirs are no longer friends of the Republic. Far from it. King /u/Perjunkie, in a confusing display of foreign policy, has renounced all support for the Vaegir Empire, spurning years of cooperation. Being a pragmatic people, the Vaegirs have chosen instead to honor their other long standing alliance with the Sarranids.

The lords of Rhodokia have anxiously gathered at the capital, knowing that they have no chance against the might of two kingdoms with very bad blood. After much deliberation, a message was delivered to Marshal Renaud of Swadia: Honor your vow.

While not a republican himself, the knight was sympathetic to the ideals of the new Rhodokia: So much so that he had agreed to put the interests of Vlandia above that of petty infighting. Seeing their calls for freedom and equality as righteous, (and also most likely a chance to piss off the Vaegirs) the commander of the Swadian armies has convinced the lords under him to march east, ambushing the Vaegir army to ease the burden on Rhodokia.

With the battle of the four armies on the horizon, Calradia wonders what the future will hold. Swadian intervention will force the Sarranids to shift their crosshairs off of Jelkala, but the Rhodoks have been far from sparred. Will the dream of Vlandia prove superior to the reality of cold eastern steel?

In Meta Terms

Welcome to the 42nd Calradic Campaign! In a change of pace for the Campaign, this event will see the Rhodoks and Swadians battle with the Sarranids and Vaegirs in all out war.

If the Rhodoks can defeat the Sarranid army in the field, they will move on to aid the Swadian host in assaulting Jamiche and Ergellon. If the Sarranids can successfully launch an offensive, they will assist the Vaegir forces in raiding Ibdeles and Vyincourt.

/u/Perjunkie and /u/Arthanias will lead the Rhodoks / Sarranids in the field (respectively), and /u/RookishKnight and /u/Saultnami will lead the Swadians / Vaegirs in the siege. A marshal will be appointed if any cannot attend.

The event will be a best of 7 battle map followed by a best of 3 siege. The Rhodoks and Sarranids will fight in the field stage, followed by the Swadians and Vaegirs fighting in the siege stage.

To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

Calradic Campaign Starter Guide

Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.

Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - an unorthodox battle map, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!

If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband!

Donating to the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for years. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord.

Leave any question, complaints, observations, memes and faction based riffing in the comments below!

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it. Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. (This mod includes source btw) https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6243/?tab=description Also, I am hoping to support it in the future, i.e through content updates and bug fixes. I hope everyone likes it!! :D Submitted August 11, 2018 at 09:48PM by amazing_lily https://ift.tt/2KMd9rK

Bannerlord + ArtMoney. Who uses with?

Money -- no problem. Troops -- no problem. Attribute & Focus points -- no problem. Renown -- no problem. Inventory stuff (weapons, armor etc.), food, goods -- no problem. Even smithy stamina is no problem at all. But how do I can search and modify xp for upgrading my battle & other perks? For example: I want crossbow skill 250, what algorithm?
