Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Beta Key Contest and Giveaway | 100k Members Celebration

Congratulations to everyone at /r/mountandblade for getting our community to 100,000 members!

History & Highlights

This sub was created 10 years ago in June 2009 in a strange world where people waited for Warband instead of Bannerlord. Growth on the sub began slowly, but in mid 2016, the sub realized that memes could be used as a long-term source of fuel. With them, the community powered through several years of unsure waiting until the fateful moment when BannerlordWhen became BannerlordThen. And on 15 Sep 2019, we reached the 100k mark.

Being fans of such a long-running series can be a strange thing: so many aspects of our lives can change -- graduating schools, beginning new occupations, starting families, and pursuing our dreams -- and through it all there's a quirky Turkish game series to keep us entertained. Many of us have spent thousands of hours exploring new mods, grinding out map control, and getting involved with multiplayer communities and servers.

Here's some of our favorite posts throughout the years.

Contests & Giveaway

Taleworlds has graciously provided us 10 Beta keys to celebrate 100k subs and the beginning of a new chapter in Mount&Blade with the Bannerlord Beta.

There will be 3 contests sections: Art, Video, and Poem, with 3 keys awarded to the best entries of each. The submission duration is two weeks, ending on Monday, 14 October, at the time of this post.

For Art and Video submissions, post them to the subreddit normally, but include 'contest' somewhere in the title, preferably as [Contest Entry] or similar. For Poem submissions, reply to the stickied comment below. We are looking for: Creativity, Effort, and Quality > Quantity. The number of upvotes will not be considered when choosing the winning entries.

The final key will be given away randomly to one of the commentators in this post. (Please note that multiple comments won't increase your chances).

Good luck to everyone who chooses to participate and let's look forward to another 10 years of enjoying Mount&Blade!

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
