Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

[PoP] You should get bounty score for destroying the respective "hideouts"

Knighthood Orders give you quests, the most common (and arguably easiest) of which is a bounty quest. Bounty quests tell you to kill as many of their enemies (the "bad" minor factions only, like Vanskerry Raiders, Snake Cult, Jatu, Heretics, D'Shar Bandits, Mystmountains, etc.).

Most of these factions seem to have a "hideout/base" of some kind (haven't encountered any for Mystmounts/Heretics/Jatu), but for example there are Vanskerry Landings, Snake Cult Shrines, D'Shar Bandit Lairs, etc. Attacking these and succeeding should give you bounty score in my opinion, and it's really minor and not really a big problem as generally just camping around these and attacking all the small groups that spawn around it is more beneficial anyways for the bounty quests, but it would still be nice especially if you're being loyal to your own kingdom/faction and are trying to grow your fiefs. Killing bandits and these hideouts is beneficial as a ton of these guys spawn around these locations and since them attacking farmers, caravans, etc. harms the fief it would be nice to further incentivize finding and destroying these things.

TL;DR - Destroying bandit hideouts should give you bounty score for KO quests.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
