So each play through begins with the creation of a new army group of 'Bodyguards'. This group is recruited from the most noble of tavern gutters whose only purpose is to kill things. Not only does this group follow and deal with any tavern or street ambushes they also serve the vital role on the battle field.
Due to their superhuman ability to survive life threatening wounds they serve dual purpose as the 'vanguard'. When a superior foe dares not mindlessly charge unto hordes of arrows and compact infantry these individuals are called to do their duty.
These brave individuals armed with a lance, shield, sword and dreams are given the order to break the ranks of foes. The battlefield falls silent, these handful of soldiers screaming across the battlefields on their saddle horses. Its beautiful. The couched lances find their mark dropping five men on impact before the brave few are overwhelmed.
The enraged enemy charge, the trap sprung. Before the enemy is met words of encouragement are shouted. "HONOUR THE CHARGE THEY MADE, HONOUR THE FIGHT BRIGADE. NOBLE FIVE SOLDIERS". Then the bowstrings let fly.
