I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? Get ready for the rumble of the year!
Although tensions have greatly risen between the Khanate and the Vaegirs, sacred traditions must be obeyed. Few outside the two nations know of the honorary skirmish held every year in the far east, for little other than bragging rights.
This year, however, is... different. /u/Saultnami , after a long, ale filled night of remembering the devastation of Rivacheg, decided to up the ante. A vaegir courier appeared at the Great Khan's tent the following day, with a simple message: Why not wager the lands fought on?
/u/SanjarKhan, ever confident of the ability of his riders to win the game, eagerly agreed, ordering extended horse-rider relationship training.
Unfortunately for tradition, this larger wager has attracted the attention of the rest of Calradia, this ancient battle no longer hidden away from the rest of the continent. The Rhodoks have already donated their finest crossbows to the Vaegir cause, while the Swadians and Sarranids have lended their strongest mounts to the Khergits, the Nords remaining as vague on foreign affairs as ever.
The show must go on despite foreign influence, and this year's snow bowl is shaping up to be one for the history books.
In Meta Terms
Welcome to the 28th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the Vaegirs and Khergits square off in an (un)friendly brawl.
If the Vaegirs can win the field event, they will continue onto the Khergit's mockup replications of Unhun and Malayurg. If the Khergs can bring home the gold for the Khanate, they will assault the Vaegir forts of Nelag and Sungetche.
/u/Saultnami will be leading the Vaegirs, and /u/SanjarKhan will be leading the Khergits. A marshal will be appointed if either cannot attend.
The event will be a best of 5 battle map followed by a best of 3 siege.
To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign
The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use.
Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - a new deathmatch map so we dont have to use arena for 200 people, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything!
If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband!
Donating to the Calradic Campaign
The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for over a year. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthy or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord.
