Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

The loading screen tips:

1:You can order your soldiers to move to a spot by pressing and holding down F1 key.

2:Horses and men move less quickly in rainy weather.

3:You can wait on the world map by holding down the space bar.

4:You can recruit new men to your party in taverns.

5:You can give orders to your party while in battle.

6:A party with high morale moves more quickly while travelling on the map.

7:Wounded party members will heal faster while resting in taverns.

8:To quickly buy and sell items in inventory window hold down control key while you left click.

9:You can press Backspace key during battle to bring the command interface.

10:You will pay half wages to your troops while you are staying in a town or castle. Similarly you will pay half wages to troops you garrison in a castle.

11:You can leave any location instantly by pressing the tab key.

12:You can hold down the shift key to zoom-in while aiming at distant enemies.

Thanks to the wiki I ctrl+C ctrl+V'd all of these.

Note: The command interface also brings up a minimap of the battle where you can see all of the troops, also you can command from there by pressing the buttons that show up below the minimap, though this is a bad way to do it.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
