Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

Stealthy's guide to conquering the factions of Calradia: The Khergits (2)

Hi everyone I'm writing this guide as a quick intro for beginners to the game to give them some advice and perspective in managing army tactics against all types of factions during the heat of battle. Each post will be on a different faction, I hope you find it useful

Our next faction;

THE KHERGIT KHANATE

Background - The Khergits were based on the mongol factions of early asia and their armies are essentially calvary only. Their strength lies in open fields where their horseman superiority can quickly swarm and run over everything in their path, devastating your army. It all sounds scary in writing but on the field of battle they can easily be defeated using sound tactics. However in sieges whether its attacking or defending they are the laughing stock of all the calradian factions, essentially useless when dishmounted. With no shock troops that can punch a hole in the enemy's fortress defense line making it very easy to knock them off one by one. When defending, the Khergits front line is easily to get through due to very limited armour and once the walls have been breached its all over for the defending Khergits. Overall I think they are the weakest faction in Calradia and thus give them a 3/10.

  1. Always be careful when venturing out into enemy Khergit territory as being entirely on horseback, their party speed is far greater than most armies of similar sizes and you can quickly find yourself surrounded heavily outnumbered by their many nimble war parties.
  2. On the field the most dangerous time when facing a Khergit army is at the very start when their horseman are starting their initial charge, make sure to protect your archers and calvary (who can be quickly dismounted by having a couched spear stuck in their horse) by setting up a tight front line of shielded infantry. Their horses are very light and its doubtful their calvary can run over your troops unlike some heavier calvary troop trees (Swadians and Sarranids).
  3. Once their initial charge as been broken you'll notice the rest of the army is hilariously stuck as they run into each other forming a long line of frozen horseman - this is your best time to attack so gather up your calvary and hit them hard and fast on their side. Your infantry will be able to stop/slow the advance giving valuable time for your calvary to hack many down.
  4. If facing a large army this inital charge is only the beginning and as more troops start to pour in your army will be out of position preventing you from using this strategy again. Your foot soldiers are now in danger of getting picked off one by one as they hopelessly chase the swift Khergit horseman so from then on set your archers to huddle together preferably on a hill and get your infantry to stand next to them preventing your marksman getting swarmed or picked off. Then lead your cavalry to run in circles around your archers, both protecting them and getting easy kills while your archers start to slowly drop the enemy numbers.

I hope this guide has helped, comment your own strategies to defeat the Khergits and let me know if there is anything else you would like me to add in my next post.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it. Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. (This mod includes source btw) https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6243/?tab=description Also, I am hoping to support it in the future, i.e through content updates and bug fixes. I hope everyone likes it!! :D Submitted August 11, 2018 at 09:48PM by amazing_lily https://ift.tt/2KMd9rK

Bannerlord + ArtMoney. Who uses with?

Money -- no problem. Troops -- no problem. Attribute & Focus points -- no problem. Renown -- no problem. Inventory stuff (weapons, armor etc.), food, goods -- no problem. Even smithy stamina is no problem at all. But how do I can search and modify xp for upgrading my battle & other perks? For example: I want crossbow skill 250, what algorithm?
