What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

Pendor: Attacked the Snake fortress and lost all my troops, including companions! How? Why?

Those snaky bastards have a thousand troops in defence. I had to wait until I had my own kingdom before I could dare stand up to them. I gathered my six lords and 500 of my finest infantry for a total of over 1200 soldiers. We raced up the steps and forced our way into the courtyard after several minutes of intense fighting. I took out close to fifty badies before I got knocked out.

The status bar showed 2/3 allies and 1/3 enemies. Got it in the bag! I left the computer to get some stuff done. When I came back, the battle was over and the snakes were victorious, not me! Damn. As I exited, it told me that some of my companions were upset.

Being kicked back into the map, I saw that the snakes only had 500 units while I had considerably more. The game warned me that the snakes were sure to refill their garrison, so I figured I might as well attack again and see what happens.

I got knocked out a lot sooner. When I came back to the computer, I had taken the day! Yeah, me!

When I left, I was the only one in my party. None of my 500+ troops were with me. None of my companions were with me. What the hell happened? I've never had a battle where everyone died and I sure as hell never had a companion leave without notice.

When I arrived at my capital city, I found a companion in the tavern. He rejoined without mentioning what happened. Anyone know what happened with this?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
