STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT

There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck.

Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
