Vassal armies

My vassals don’t seem to make armies, even when I’m fighting a 4 front war? Is it because I just don’t have many vassals? I was a vassal for the aserai, started a abdication faction, and won the civil war (can’t remember the mod) managed to get these guys in my side, but whenever I’m in a war now, nobody starts an army, nobody seems to have any involvement in the war whatsoever. Is there a policy I need to enact? Or do I just need more vassals? The only land I really have is the original aserai section (which I have all of) I have some fiefs but as you can see almost everyone has at least 1. Any help would be appreciated! Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT

There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck.

Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare...
