Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

Full conversion mods that don't make the game stupid hard?

So, I've been looking around and tried more than a few, but I've found that most mods either don't quite work, or were made by people who seem to enjoy it when the game is aggravatingly hard.

Now, I enjoy difficulty, to a point, but I also like to have the option of being able to beat a game without mastering every tingle facet of it. Frankly, I don't have the time to sit down and play the game for hours at a time in an effort to "git gud", because I have a job, life, and other obligations.

So, are there any mods out there for average players like me?

EDIT:

Mods I've tried:

POP, Perisno, Viking Conquest (Which, while easier than Brytenwalda, is still stupid hard), Star Wars Conquests (not hard, but still incomplete), WFaS (like it, but hate that the caravan system completely replaced enterprises. I like being able to passively earn a bit of money), and Nova Aetas (not hard in and of itself, but the trait system and other design choices are just fucking terrible and makes the game so much harder than it should be in ways that just aren't fun).

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
