[Vikings Conquest] Why do random lords hate me, despite me never having been within a 20 kilometer radius of them in my entire life?

I had a flourishing trade router from Dorestad, Dunwic, Ribe, and Northvegr. Suddenly, a man from the Tribe of Osraige approached me and I noticed he had -1 Relation with me. So I went around from place to place, and noticed that literally half of the Lords that I greet (I have the dialogue of "Hello, my name is ____" and then they just... dislike me? Is it because I'm rich? Handsome? A Communist?
