Where to begin... So the Battanians get into their fateful war with Vlaandians, but the western empire declared war upon their new Vlaandian neighbors. The western empire and the battanians pushed back the Vlaandians, but then the Aserai attacked the Western Empire. The Vlaandians made peace with the Battanians to focus their efforts on the western empire, and though the Battanians were doing well on their own, the Sturgians declared war on them. Battanians lose Flintolg castle but gain the Kranirog and Mazhadan castles, and then they claim Sturgia-owned Epicrotea during the Sturgian's battle against the Western Empire. The Khuzait declare war on the Sturgians and claim Tyal from them, so the Sturgians make peace with the Battanians to focus on the Khuzait. The western empire loses ground to both the Aserai and the Vlaandians, so they are forced to make peace with the Vlaandians. Basically, will there be any incentive to use light cavalry when the heavy variant is available? I know that you’ll need to buy the horses and probably the horse armour for each unit, but when money becomes a non-issue, will there be a reason not to just spam Vlandian Knights or Imperial Cataphracts? Because from what I’ve seen from the gameplay footage, the only thing heavy cavalry doesn’t do better than light cavalry is chasing down other light cavalry.
