I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Hey Butterlords,
So recently upgraded my PC. I have been trying to ignore and forget M&B for a year as it hurts too damn much. Anyway I caved and started a game on Pendor..
My issue is the performance is shite. Old pc could run huge battles no problem, the new one I get constant stuttering in battles! I'm guessing it is because of the poor multi thread optimisation but I'm wondering what the latest advice is to regain buttery smooth playing.
Specs - 1070ti, 2600x, 16gb ram and running on SSD.
What I have tried
- dropping battles to 200
- forcing single core use
- every graphics combination available
- running on direct 7
Anyone got any suggestions for what I can try next to get rid of battle stutter? I just want to drink from the skulls of my enemies. :(
