Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. The only way this could've been better is if Monchug died instead of his companion. submitted by /u/Glorf_Warlock [link] [comments]

I kind of like the Neretzes folly quest

While it is a bit of a pain in the ass to complete, and the first time I played through it annoyed me to no end, on my next couple of playthroughs I found myself really appreciating the way it tells the story this very important battle.

The fact that you have to find 10 people to talk to means that you end up getting a pretty wide range of viewpoints, and seeing the different character's opinions and biases regarding the fight was just really fun to me. I also enjoyed the fact that you really dont know the specifics of the conflict, other than empire losses and the emperor dies, until youve gone through a few of the interactions. Learning how each faction fucked things up in the lead up, during, and in the aftermath of the battle was also quite interesting.

Do other people agree? IDK, maybe its just the fact that i didnt really purposefully seek characters out to talk to, just talked to them as i found them while doing other stuff, that made the whole ordeal less frustrating than it was the first time I played it through

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
