Are Naute just better Legionary now ? I think they are and Legionaries need a buff

I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Really was surprised by how good the Naute are compared to Legionaries or other infantry from other factions. submitted by /u/KolkanCova [link] [comments]

Commanders vs Hero Troops?

Now that we have the option to include hero troops in formations, what exactly are the benefits of that versus a Commander with specific perks to lead said formation? Do hero troops also give their perks within the formations they’re in? Do they take over if the commander of that formation falls during battle? I need answers! Thanks.
