Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still... submitted by /u/Top_Leopard_9528 [link] [comments]

PoP - I end up with too many fiefs while fighting for a claimant

In Warband, I had to option to defer the appointment of fiefs for a later time. This meant I could conquer a few castles really quick and then get to recruiting lords whom I would reward with the recent lands I conquered. There isn't an option to defer granting fiefs in PoP. So I'm gonna need like an extra thousand troops to garrison all my castles and cities if this keeps up, not to mention the huge tax inefficiency I'll probably have when the rebellion is finished.

And nobody wants to join a rebel with only a city and a couple of castles. So I need to get some fiefs before trying to recruit lords.

So where do I go with this? Just keep recruiting troops and conquering everywhere and end up with a kingdom where I own half the fiefs? If I keep beating their armies maybe that'll convince them to join me? I have around 40-60 relations with half the lords so do I keep capturing and releasing them until some sweet spot like 80 or something? I'm kinda stuck.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
