Nord gear is beautiful

Its like the sturgians just got a direct upgrade submitted by /u/GodZephyrx [link] [comments]

[Warband] Has anyone else played this mod? It makes sieges fun, imo.

It's called Native Scenes Replacement Pack, more specifically its Town Pack. It replaces the towns with bigger and more detailed versions for both walking around in and in sieging. This actually makes walking around and laying sieges in towns more interesting and fun. As far as I know, it lacks one more Sarranid town (Barriye) but other than that, it is very playable and compatible with mods (ones that don't have special modifications in town scenes...at least afaik).

Here's a video showing my siege of Tihr. Notice the destructible gate. After playing through this level, I just had to advertise this mod which is surprisingly too obscure for its quality.

Apologies for the video quality and lack of audio. After Effects didn't render the audio for some reason and I was lacking hard drive space so I had to downscale and shorten the footage a lot. After breaking the gate, you go around the whole of the town and eventually reaching the Town Hall to cut down the defenders who spawn from the inside. The mods I'm using is Silverstag with my own modified version of Polished Landscapes.

The mod:

I do not experience lag with the mod. I have a 1050ti 4 GB and my i3-2100 (!!!), 6 GB RAM. Running Warband on maximum settings, 1920x1080, and a battlesize of 350 while running Silverstag and Polished Landscapes.

All credits go to the creator of the mod (The_Bowman_TW). If anyone knows his reddit username, please tag him. :)

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
