[ACOG 6.2] Freelancer units unarmed?

Hey, I am fairly new to the game. I recently captured Lannisport and Casterly Rock. I put some money in the recruiting pocket (800 for each recruitment) and got me some 200 garrison units, which all are some type of Freelancers for some reason. Now, all of them are unarmed and wearing this stripe clothing and gloves, nothing else. I mean, regardless of their class, elite man-at-arms , mounted sergeant, bowman, anything really comes with the same outfit unarmed. Maybe I am missing something? Do I really need to recruit troops at villages (like 10 at a time) and micro manage them into the castle? Or do I need to build a training yard or something? (In progress)

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
