I encountered a glitch where I have to sneak into friendly towns. And when I get caught, all the guards turn into clones of me, and I also become one of the guards. A "hostile" version of my clone sneaks into town disguised. I say "hostile" because none of the NPCs are actually aggressive. To skip the scene, I need to kill the version of myself that's sneaking in. After lots of back and forth, give and take off castles and my kingdom declaring multiple wars at once I've gotten bored. So I've changed my play style to "last man standing" where I intend to execute the realm unless someone stops me. I'm in my first Bannerlord playthrough, though I've played a lot of Civ and Total War so most of the mechanics make some kind of sense. But I just had my 6th child with my wife, and was THANKFUL that the kiddo had no traits on birth. Why? Because other than one of my children having the "Compassionate" (Mercy 2) trait, ALL of the other traits are negative. My faction leader started with "daring" and at some point got "honest". Wife has "honest" and "calculating". So how do our offspring end up with "sadistic", "deceitful", "hotheaded"? Most of the negative traits are tier 2 and not tier 1 too. Actually I just checked and one of my kids is also "calculating" along with sadistic. Which sounds even worse? I just wish that either parent's traits or some kind of "child rearing" options your character could choose would have more of an impact than - IDK, genetics? Because apparen

I can't understand how it works. I mean, we can use ChatGPT without an account, so why do we need an account to hook it to Bannerlord? And what of those other services that give you "1000 free lines" or whatever? What does that mean, anyway? Does the AI stop working when you run out of those 1k lines until you pay for subscription? Since House of the Dragon Season 2 came out last weekend, my game of thrones itch compelled me to download the Realm of Thrones mod for Bannerlord. This is the first time I've actually used modded content on Bannerlord, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Naturally I downloaded relevant files off Nexus (Harmony, uiexpanded, ROT5.3) and I threw in the serve as a soldier mod for some additional flavor. Before you ask, yes, I did download a mod unblocker and I'm pretty sure it ran smoothly since I didn't find any issues under the properties tab when I went to check. I made sure the mod order was correct as well, so I know that's not an issue. My first problem came after I downloaded realm of thrones and couldn't find it on my mod list. I responded by extracting the mods components-- core, content, dragons, etc.-- and putting them in the primary mod folder, which seemed to fix it. However, nothing I do makes the game actually function. The Serve as a soldier mod

Hello. If anyone is able to help, I am having a very strange crash in battles, my crash log isn't pointing to any mods, and I'm not versed enough in the game code to understand what little info the log IS giving me in order to fix it myself. I just started playing again after a long break and decided to do a sandbox game. I went for some arenas to gain initial money and skills and I've been humbled multiple times. Shield + 1H - I can no longer block and attack. Duels usually end with my shield being destroyed and from then on it's game over. I tried shield slamming but opponent even manages to block that! 2H - I can no longer run-boop-run. every time I try to swing, without mistake, the opponent blocks it. I spent 10 minutes yesterday trying to run-boop-run, but EVERYTHING was blocked. What am I doing wrong? Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has some tips on mods or forged weapons that will literally make me a one man army (but not broken, it doesn’t make sense I know) I like facing a much larger army kiting them on a horseback or ground, I’d like a weapon that is almost godly but doesn’t cut through 100 enemies with splash damage. I joined an allied army and a large battle started. I'm not a commander in the army. Our troops are just standing around for like 20 minutes doing nothing..? We have a huge numbers advantage and our army is just there, while our Cavalry repeatedly does feigned attacks and not killing anyone. Am I stuck like this forever? I made the decision to join and give the banner to Rhahega of the empire because she seems like a good ruler - and currently i'm still on first playthrough with a band of only ~30-40 men mostly raiding bandits dens, i've been playing very cautiously and figured I have noway near the ability to go to war with everyone with my own faction yet. But is this a mistake? I've been reading some disturbing posts on this forum regarding brain dead allied AI decisions and unwinnable wars. I am Khuzait and I own Odokh, whose culture IS Khuzait…and my husband, who is also Khuzait, is the governor. And yet when I hover over settlement tax while in the manage town page, it’s a huge minus. Im not sure if im the only one that feels annoyed by the vanilla news feed on the UI. important news/updates from around calradia either disappear within 30 seconds and you don’t have the ability to scroll. I think being able to thoroughly read these reports would greatly improve my experience and situational awareness surrounding my kingdom. I recently got the game 3 days ago and I struck it big with a $48,000 stash of loot in a hideout. I now have made it big enough with enough influence to get into wars and sieges. I am also apart of the Aseri as the Sultan was a chad and gave me money to help me out in the beginning. Anyways none of this matters , I recently decided to help with a siege where I wouldn’t be the leading commander but my men could still be used. Not only were my troops and the other troops getting FUCKED by archers and cannon balls, but as we break the final gate to get in the castle, instead of being smart and backing out. Hi guys, Fourberie is a very popular mod so I hope I won't be ostracized for talking about it here. My problem is that I seem to have zero problems creating Assassins but as far as spies (or by the look of it the most useful) saboteurs goes, none of my troops turn into them. Does anyone know how to make saboteurs or spies instead of as assassins. Mostly I'm enjoying the fourberie mod but I can't figure this out.
