Are Naute just better Legionary now ? I think they are and Legionaries need a buff

I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Really was surprised by how good the Naute are compared to Legionaries or other infantry from other factions. submitted by /u/KolkanCova [link] [comments]

Create faction or join another? First time playthrough

I made the decision to join and give the banner to Rhahega of the empire because she seems like a good ruler - and currently i'm still on first playthrough with a band of only ~30-40 men mostly raiding bandits dens, i've been playing very cautiously and figured I have noway near the ability to go to war with everyone with my own faction yet.

But is this a mistake? I've been reading some disturbing posts on this forum regarding brain dead allied AI decisions and unwinnable wars. I'm able to go back an hour on my saves and go a different path

Does anyone have advice on how to go about this decision and how to make the end game suck less?
