Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Worth getting another caravan?

2 of my caravans got captured and the heros that were being raided got captured but they quickly escaped. But i dont know should i spend another 30k for just 2 caravans. Is it really worth getting new caravans if they were raided?
