Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Blank moneylenders screen (all mods)

Seen the problem posted in a few places, but only one answer. Moneylenders a blank green screen. I can click buttons, but cant see. Ive tried changing screen res and mode, changed dx and tried running with/without WSE2. Problem persists in all mods that use moneylenders.

Any ideas? Cheers
