Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Can’t interact with AI in world

My game is broken

I can’t interact with other parties and even common looters. My party still appears blue even though I have no army. I don’t know if this is a bug or a setting.

Sorry this is probably an easy fix but I’m a noob. Thank you!
