Crafted weapon bug after loading

Hi, I just encountered this bug. After loading the game my crafted weapons have very small or zero stats. Javelins, 2h swords, 1h swords, polearms, all of them. I've been playing with mods for a long time, but now was the 1st time it happened to me. I saw some posts about this, but haven't found any solution for this. No game fixes, no mods. Do you have any idea how to prevent this bug, or what causes it? Any workarounds? submitted by /u/tothacka [link] [comments]

Four years to make conversational animations.

Hey, basically the title. I was looking through old blog posts to find this for another post when I came across blog 7 (published May of 2014) which says, among other things

The results in game are already fairly astounding, bringing characters to life as they squirm and grin accordingly during conversations. They won't just be visible in conversations either; battles, town scenes, feasts, prisons and everywhere will all feature animated faces.

Now, late January of 2018, we were given this blog about conversational animations. Note that this says they made the improvement to the dialogue system and doesn't make reference (at least from what I saw) to animations elsewhere.

Best case - They've finished all of the facial animations. They've had one guy working on handcrafted animations the past four years (the screenshot in dev blog 7 shows two people but the one in the background appears to be working on something else) and making them appear where they're supposed to. Also seen in the dev blog 7 screenshot is a program they already have to make these animations so there's probably been little wait on the software end of things. The GIFs shown in the January blog look a lot more detailed than the screenshots from 2014 so they could have had just a preliminary setup.

Mediocre Case - It's taken four years for a small group to finish facial animations for just conversations, something they had already had partially done by the time dev blog 7 came out. They've posted January's devblog as an update showing they finished part of what they've done.

Worst case - They're trying to show something and are elaborating on old concepts. The scale of animations has been reduced to mostly just conversations which indicates they are concerned about time and are cutting back on things. You can see here that there doesn't appear to be facial animations during combat for the purple guy as of June, 2017.

Am I concerned about nothing or is this actually a cause for concern. I don't know if they've been working on this continuously and I didn't check the comments on their forums for information but it doesn't seem that great. Let me know if I missed anything too.

Optimal weapons in Smithing (Forging): a second, deeper (?), look - Blades/Heads + Guards/Banners and Accessories. Bit of a letdown

Hello everyone. It’s been one month since part 1 was released (This one https://www.reddit.com/r/Bannerlord/comments/12yqhq5/optimal_weapons_in_smithing_forging_a_first_look/ ).I’m here posting again to go forwards in the established direction from part 1.There will be a TL;DR section at the end. A little recap is in order: last time we crafted every single possible weapon in Bannerlord, but ignoring guards, pommels, grips, accessories (From now on, "Parts 2/3/4")... and only switched between different blades/heads ("Parts 1"), which I expected to determine the overall worth of the item much more than the other parts (This proved to be the case, according to today's data).Furthermore, there were no changes in size at all, so all components were crafted only in standard size. Again, I've updated the Google drive folder I've been using up until now. It contains a series of screenshots detailing the weapon's name (Which in turn is a combination of the...
