I know there is (was?) a mod there you could have like a personal guard of 10 units in every battle. But is there any working mod out there that fix so you can have that, but also decide on your own what units shall be in it? I just exited out of Pendor and decided that the mod isn't for me. I found it too difficult, even though I saved often here and there to prevent being mauled by 500-man demonic hordes. I found that I usually only got 4 or so kills per battle, as opposed to in Floris Mod, where I found myself able to get significantly more. In that mod, I was able to start my own kingdom, however, it got repetitive with constant battles with lords trying to take my castles. It also got meaningless because it got easy because of constant saving.
I never really got too far in a game, in that I never did end up getting married. I'm thinking of starting a new game with iron man mode to play humbly, as opposed to creating my own kingdom.
I've never played in Iron Man mode. Do you guys recommend it? Which mod is best to use with it? I have Floris, PoP, AD 1257.
How does one survive in Iron Man Mode? Tips?
