Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. The only way this could've been better is if Monchug died instead of his companion. submitted by /u/Glorf_Warlock [link] [comments]

Perisno: Town sieges last more than an hour?

I'm finally getting around to joining a faction and taking part in the campaigns. The first time I joined a castle siege, it went pretty well even if I did get knocked out after successfully getting myself on the ramparts. Last night I took part in a town siege and it lasted maybe two hours. Now I'm engaged in another town siege and I've already waited an hour. Is this normal?

In both town sieges, I got knocked out early, so there's nothing to do but watch my colleagues climb the ladder and get chewed to hamburger by those bad-ass dwarves. It gives me time to do other things (like I want to do other things), but surely sieges should not take more than an hour, no?

Also, I played a mod that, when I was knocked out, I took over a companion or soldier during these long sieges. That was a brilliant idea. Not only making the siege more interesting, but giving me an opportunity to see what it's like to be a different troop class.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
