Hi, ı am trying to understand dds files and models. But that thing is turning into Gandalf for no reason. I make a model and tried it, it works perfect with other dds but when ı put my own dds file it is GANDALF. I tried to dxdt1, dxt3,5,7 etc. I tried just rgb or rgbe, rgbs whatever. I tried using another programs to cretae a dds file but. I played with shaders and metarial flags on open brf. Nothing is working ı am trying to talk with ai about 10+ hour but none of them found a solution. For some reason, in any battle where more than perhaps 10 people are participating, the game lags to an absolutely terrible degree. I'm talking single figure FPS numbers and freally frequent freezes where nothing happens for maybe 10 seconds.
I've messed around with the battle size (even on the minimum I get these issues), the battle notifications, graphics, number of visible corpses etc... but nothing affects it in any meaningful way.
My computer isn't exactly the most high-end thing around, but for a game this old it should have absolutely no problem running it. The worst part is I've owned this game for a couple of years now and for I remember large battles being perfectly fine back then. No idea what's happening now but it makes battles completely unplayable.
My specs:
- Processor: AMD FX-6350 Six-core 3.90 GHz
- Ram: 8GB
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 980
I'm using one mod, Diplomacy, but I've experimented with it both enabled and disabled and it doesn't affect anything.
Anyone got any idea how to fix this? Or at the very least, does anyone else have this problem?
